An outstanding college with plenty opportunities

For getting admission to this prestigious college you have to qualify for the JEE mains and advance with good marks after which you can get it by JOSAA counseling. I availed EWS quota as I got around 119 marks in JEE Advanced. The admission process is all online set by JOSAA you have to pay one-time registration fees, and then fill up choices for the 6-7 rounds of counseling done by JOSAA, due to the COVID situation we are not able to go into campus, but college has some very good vibes in online classes also. I am looking forward to going to campus and have a great time.

The course curriculum for the first years is the same for every branch. We all get some knowledge about everything related to each branch, whether it's a mech, CS, or earth sciences, the faculty-student ratio is fine and Tl, there are some world-class teachers, teaching in an efficient way, exams are a bit difficult in online cases, but the Study material provided by teachers are more than sufficient to get 80-90% marks.

So here we get plenty of internship opportunities. I myself get an internship opportunity just after 1 month of joining in some edu tech. There are plenty of companies coming here always who provide courses and internships. People who have that many good skills would definitely get internship opportunities in their first or second year only.

So the placements are one thing you shouldn't care about. Being in IIT people always get placed with high packages in good companies. People here come to develop their personality get in civil services. There is no problem with placements or internships. This year's highest package was offered by Bloomberg to two CSE seniors about 90-80 lakhs. The average package is about 10 lakhs.

So this is the problem for people with average family income and doesn't belong to aby reserved caste because there is plenty of scholarships but only for people having family income less than 6 lakh, no scholarships for more than 6 lakh, and for SC/ST no tuition fees. The fees were earlier low in IITs but now it's a bit high, so for A middle class you could have to take the loan, but it's worth it if you're getting such a good college.

Campus life : As I am from the 2020 COVID batch I can't say about how is the campus life of the college, but we have some nice seniors who are very helpful and uplifting. There are plenty of events and fests being organized for people of different tastes and for a different season. If you're a person who is not an introvert you will definitely like the college.
