Best Engineering College in Kanpur

PSIT is one of the best private colleges in North India. It is stated in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. For B.Tech you can either apply offline or online. Admission is done on the basis of UPSEE and JEE MAIN scores or DIRECT ADMISSION. The eligibility criteria are 60% and above in the PCM and Aptitude test of 30 minutes. I took admission through the direct process in which an online interview was conducted and I was given admission on the basis of my board's marks in PCM

I had a keen interest in coding and computer programming so I chose to do a BTech in computer science and engineering. I wanted to learn more in this field. Day by day we are progressing in the field of technology so this course has its benefits for the future. The college time to time conducts assignments, class tests, and pre University exams every semester. The faculty here is amazing. They try their best to provide good quality content to the students. They are well qualified. All of them are mostly professors and have good knowledge in their respective fields.

I'm in my first year so not done an internship yet. I'll look forward to an internship second year onwards. Once we proceed with our engineering, we will have to do an internship for better learning and a good opportunity for placements. We would learn a lot and gain experience. PSIT helps us in this.

Key companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon hire students from the campus. The placement procedure starts in the third year. The average package is around 5 LPA and the highest was 24 LPA. This college provides good placements. Most 90 percent of students get placed. Most probably I'll go for M Tech.

My fee is around 1.7 lakh per year and I think it is worth it. There is no fee hike policy as such in this college fee remains the same every year. Moreover, they provide easy education loans also to students as they have a collaboration with many banks and private companies. As much I know, college does not provide scholarships to anyone. I am in my first year and the job offers start coming from 3 rd year.

Every year an annual fest called Ignitia is conducted but due to COVID-19 this year it was not possible. It is a grand event in which any student can participate and show their talents and skills. There is a big library which keeps all the updated books from which students can issue books from time to time. The classrooms are air-conditioned and very big and comfortable. Sports and extra co-curricular activities also take place in the college. Many programs are also organized in the auditorium of PSIT. the campus is fully air-conditioned with a Wi-Fi connection.
