I have applied for RNSIT, DSCE, GAT, SJBIT, JSSIT, BIT. but Chosen BNMIT since it located in the centre of the city hence need not depend on public transport. The college environment was excellent, the admission process was the very simple and very friendly office staff.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was very interested in ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING from my childhood hence I chosen EEE. The faculty ratio is ~1:13. Most of the faculty had done PHD in one or more topics and many faculty have at least 20 years of experience. We use to have monthly internals, apart from that surprise tests, quiz used to conduct.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the core companies like BOSCH, WIPRO, Siemens, Gamesa, Schnieder, ABB, Microchip, WEG, Moog etc Also, most of these companies make permanent based on their performance in an internship after the degree. All most of all the companies pay a stipend. and the amount demend on thair company standard. Like the stipend vary from 15k/Month to 70k/Month.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for the placements from the 6th se. ~100 companies come for the recruitment including core companies. In our batch, 98% of eligible persons got placed in at least 1 company. I joined the core electrical company as a design engineer soon after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is nominal for the general category. For toppers, financially less background 70 to 90% of the fee used to get a scholarship. Also, the fee was very less when compated to all deemed, autonomous colleges also most of the VTU colleges.
Campus Life
The annual Fest name of BNMIT is TATWA. its use to conduct for 2 days. the first day was intra college and 2 day was inter college. there are many clubs in the college like Nature club, sports club, cultural club, yoga club etc, each and everyone has to join any one club.
