Everything is good except its recognition despite of being such a wonderful college. College management should work on the marketing of this college so as to have more intake from next academic year.

Sagar University - CET for MSc Botany( All India Exam) Max Marks- 200 Scored - 102 ( General Category). I opted for this particular college because the college has its own botanical garden and it is a member of Botanical garden kew- London. It provides a very vast practical experience as this garden houses some very rare plants which are not available anywhere in India easily. Teachers are also very qualified and expert in their particular field. Overall being a central university in the heart of MP , it is surrounded by greenery and away from hustle bustle of city which provides very good learning environment.

Course Curriculum is very detailed and structured in a away to give maximum benefits to the students. There are total 8 electives spread in two years i.e two electives per semester. 1.Mushroom Biology 2.Ecology Diversity 3. Forestry Ecology 4. Fungal Bio Systematic 5. Plant Protection, 6. Applied Algal Microbiology 7. Limnology 8. Forestry Seed technology

Faculty have very strong links all over the country at all levels. They generally provide internship opportunity to students . Stipend is also paid depending on the place you are interning . General stipend varies from 5-10k . Overall experience from internship is quite good and you learn the working of a general body.

Various Govt and Private bodies come to the campus for placements. Packages varies from 3LPA-7LPA. BHU, FRI, NALCO, TNT Express, Accolade wines.

Various Festivals are celebrated:- 1. Sports Events - Cricket , Hockey , Badminton etc 2. Cultural Events - Hindi Pakhvada etc 3. Founder Days 4. Individual department festivals

Feasible - being the govt college. You will study in least amount of money.

Scholarship are available to Category students which is provided by MP Government.

Gender Ratio is very good keeping in mind the current gender ratio of India. It is around 4:10 . 4 girls per 10 boys. Being central university, the crowd is very diverse though majority of students are from Mp but you can find people form Kanyakumari and Sri Nagar as well. Extra curricular activities are held on a regular basis and are conducted on National level.

Hostel facilities are quite good . 1 existing hostel for girls and 2 hostel are under construction which will be completed by December. Rooms are on a Twin Sharing Basis for Post Graduate and Graduate Students . On a single basis for Research Scholars. Mess food quality is very good and menu is decided by the students itself. However, timing for girls hostel is quite strict and adherence to it is expected from students failing which there is a penalty.

Yes. Absolutely Yes. Senior students are very helpful and being a hosteler I have never experienced a pinch of ragging in the campus or any where in hostel. Seniors are very understanding and helpful and treat us like their younger brothers and sisters

It is neither hectic nor very chilled out.It structured like that the students can have good practical experience . Labs are very well maintained and house all latest gadgets required.

Faculty of Botany department are extremely qualified ( All Post Docs) at the level of Associate Professors. They are highly experienced and experts in their particular field. All are very much interested to teach and always motivate students to study.
