On the job training

Firstly, there was an entrance exam and after that, they announce the merit list(after some days) and those students whose name was there in the merit list, their interviews were made by the professors and after qualifying the interview, they got the admission.

I choose this course because retail management is popular nowadays and this is important in today's world. Every faculty are well educated like MBA, PhD, etc. Every term exams were taken the time and it was difficult to pass because you have to write a lot more than school's exams.

As a retail student, we have to do the internship in retail shops only like automobile, clothing store, food and grocery stores, etc. In every department of vocational courses, there is an OJT(on the job training) program which every student have to do in the 6th semester for 1 month and have to make the project and do the presentation in front of the faculty.

In our college, campus placements are held every year. From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In this pandemic situation, everything is taking place in online mode only. Companies that are visited online this year are Infosys, Capgemini, Kotak life insurance, TCS, etc. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue MBA.

Fees structure are high for some courses not everyone can afford it. But it includes scholarship also for sc, St. They get half of their total fees. Every year this scholarship program is done by the University.

Yes, there is an annual fest which is conducted in February every year in which fashion shows, dance, music, etc are done. Fest is conducted three days in our college, it includes traditional, western, indo-western. Sports like football, basketball, cricket are done on our campus. Yes, there is a club named Rotaract club which is run by the students in our college.

I have changed the hostel 3 times because of food quality, dirty rooms and sometimes washrooms. Facilities provided there was washing machine, geyser, etc. Registration process was like give ur passport size photo, aadhar card copy, and pay the fee and security money which will refunded when we leave the hostel but after staying for 6 months only.
