Regularity of classes and regularity of teachers, understanding nature of professors, discipline of the college, sanitation of the college, festivals of the college are the factors that drive me to take admission in St. Xaviers College, Ranchi

Course Curriculum Overview

In my college as classes run regularly and teachers too are regular so syllabus gets Completed on or before time. For industrial experience we had to do internship which is a mandatory. All faculties are very good and helpful.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Big bazaar (retail company) without stipend Internship in my course is compulsory, we can get it by faculty itself or we can opt Company of our own choice to do internship.

Placement Experience

Mostly insurance and IT sector companies visits the college for placement like— Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, chola mandalam GIC, Cognizant, FEA India, lido learning, D.E.Shaw group, Concentrix, Vedanta electro steel, InTravo technologies, etc.

College Events

There are many extracurricular activities taking place time to time like sports events, social events, environmental events, cultural events and college fest which is the excitement for whole college which allows every student of college to participate and enjoy the function as festival.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of my college is good there is sports facilities and time to time sports activities also take place. WiFi facility in college is only for faculties. There are 3 libraries in my college and 2 computer labs.

Hostel Facilities

No I haven't opted for hostel as I live with my family and also there is no girls hostel in college and At. Xaviers also doesn't have any girls hostel of its own outside the college also there is only boys hostel inside the campus

My experience with SXC

Placement Experience:

last year students get this opportunity Wipro , indigo etc i dont know about that because our course didnt provide placement very low only in technica course not in courses like mine applying for masters

Good college and great course

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is average like every college just because its a hpye collge it will doens't lend you a high paying job but this course has if you have skill set you will get the good job and also there are teachers and seniors who will help you out

On the job training

Placement Experience:

In our college, campus placements are held every year. From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In this pandemic situation, everything is taking place in online mode only. Companies that are visited online this year are Infosys, Capgemini, Kotak life insurance, TCS, etc. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue MBA.

Sxc is best as compared to other colleges in jharkhand

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester, you are eligible for campus placements. Mostly insurance and IT sector visit the college for placement like - WIPRO , Infosys ,TCS , Chola Mandlam , etc. Around 70-80% placed every year. My plan is to get a job and after that I will run a business.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high. Admission process involves both online mad offline process and sometimes takes couple of days. It should be resolved and made easy as students come from far places....Read More
