Ranchi college is one of the oldest among colleges in ranchi and have given many students a bright future . Today Pass out Students of ranchi college are in many good and reputed position which gives a glimpe of its heritage.

I had written an entrance exam to get admission in ranchi college by filling up application form for the same. After exam results where declared next day after exam and my name was there in first list. After submitting all required documents and fee in form of demand draft, i finally got admitted.

I have taken B.sc IT, a vocational course so the practical was must for better understanding and college provide every thing to make sure that our practical learning would be effective. We also participated in many workshops, quiz, competition and research related to our course which i personally liked very much

No college didn't provide internship. Instead we had job training which is not that much helpful as companies didn't take that certificate as a professional course.

Placement is about 50 to 70 % . Companies like tcs, wipro , tech. Mahindra, Sap, bhilwara etc visit every year for on and off campus interview. Average package is 2 lakh .

Ranchi college do events like fresher day , teachers day, farewell, convocation, cultural fest, job fest, rangoli competition, out door sports and indoor sports.

For general candidate in first year you have to pay 13500 as tuition fee and 1600 admission fee and fir rest 2 years you have to pay 12500 tuition fee and admission fee is same as first year . 700 hundred examination fee for every semester (700*6). There are different payable amounts for bpl obc and st/sc .

College provide scholarships for bpl obs and st/sc students and also helps to get scholarships approved by state government.

As for extra curricular activities college we have quiz, technical and other competition to let students compete to get better of themselves.

I didn't reside in hostel bus as per i know it was not that good , rooms are in sharing food was also not good , overall i personally dont think that its good. Pgs are avilable as ranchi college is in morabadi and its among vip areas in ranchi so have good and lots of options.

We have student union in college so thats gives students to take responsibility and solve the problem among themselves and get the help of teachers and other as required.

There where two exam conducted in every semester mid semester exam and end semester exam . Labs where scheduled according to that so we have spare time to collect all of it.

Faculty for our course are well educated and experienced , having good skills to teach in a different but effective way so that each and every student understand that.
