Remarks

Yes, I was provided counselling before admission by the admission counsellor. I was even helped with all documentation work and I was even helped with online sessions on the first day of university and they checked my marks prior to giving me admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have an immense interest in the business field. The student-faculty ratio is average. 1 teacher for 100 students. All faculty members are PhD. degree holders and have great teaching experience. term exams are held two times a year and they are very easy to pass.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 184000 per year

Internships Opportunities

BSH Household, SmartServ, Times of India, provided internships with a stipend. Though many other companies provided internship they are without stipend. Tasks and projects under any internship depend on the field in which you are doing an internship.

Placement Experience

From 2-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Deloitte, JIO, Infosys etc visit the campus and no. of offers is also good. The highest package is 15 lakh pa. More than 60% is required for placements though it is not the case with all the companies. My plan after getting a degree is to start my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course is somewhat costly. Owing to a pandemic, it has become more costly. They provide scholarship. Before that, you have to clear CUCAT. Financial assistance is also provided and yes, internship and placement opportunities are also there.

Campus Life

Annual and tech fests are conducted at both the beginning and end of the year. We have an e-library as due to covid we have online sessions. The faculty also provide us with books. There are plenty of extracurricular activities like sports day, environment day and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The registration process for a hostel is very convenient. It is costly though. Facilities provided include Beds, study table, almirah, cooler etc. The meal quality is also good. They provide both veg and non-veg. Non-veg is provided 2 days a week.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

A Valuable Learning Curve with Real-World Exposure

Placement Experience:

Placement in the college are decent. Mostly students got placed for sales and marketing role. There are very few companies who came for Finance ,HR and Operations and other specializatins. So mostly at the end other specialix=zation students end up with getting a job role in slaes or marketing only.

Generally the placement drives starts during semester 3. Few name of the companies which visits campus Is Deloitte, American Express, Oxane Partners, Nestle & L'oreal etc. Highest package is 24.81 LPA & Average package is 8.17 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college of pretty good like the highest package has been continuously increasing in the last odios up to 12:00 p.m. in the last 3 years it has gone from 23 lpa to 27 LPS and we are open that it will again increase in the coming placement. We are actually eligible to set for placements from the second semester itself but particularly speaking about the interviews that the companies take we are eligible to set after exactly after as summer placements even some students get ppo's as the come out of there summer placements so it is basically the second semester where you are eligible to take. Till now there are around 7 to 8 companies that have visited since it is just beginning of the placement sessions Deloitte ,Accenture, Nestle, Hyundai ,Oxane partners are the company that have visited. There is a pretty good number of students were getting placed like out of the hundred students that start for placements recently about 70 to 80% of them had got them place 10% of them will be joining back to the family business and the rest are going to still appear for the placement study till the end of there MBA program. My plans after getting the degree is that I want to work incorporate for a few years and then launch my own startup.

Good college for especially pursuing Master's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chandigarh University was being suggested by my friends as they have also completed their post graduation from here, and got the placement in Accenture Gurgaon . The student ratio is in quite positive position as the students in my class are 32 . Faculty members in CU holds advanced degress like master's or phd and are highly experienced , the teaching methods are quite innovative as it includes group discussion presentation orientation , group projects , etc .

Placement is good enough if you study well in whole semester. 1. From 3rd semester you are eligible for campus placement and for placement seat you have to register for placement program of rs 7000 this is package given by college and for placement you have to fill this other wise you can go for offcampus placement. 2. Like Google, yamha, polycab India, reliance, Wipro, Deloitte, axis, icici, VI, CCD, berger paint , asiant paint ,etc. Come at 10 to 12 lakh package and take 30 students each company approx and there is more than 300+ company comes 4. Highest 32lakh package and average 5 to 6 lakh package college made. 5. 70 percent student placed from this university I am already placed from this college and one thing is here too much students so focused students only get placed. 3.

Chandigarh University: Ex-Student/Alumni Personal Review.

I chose this college just for the sake of getting exposure from different state from my home state. Also, my state don't have many good colleges for B.Tech but the positioning and advertisement of chandigarh university was well maintained and managed to attract me to its campus as the no. of placement offers and average package was good. I applied for vellore institute of technology, IIT ,NIT and Thapar institute. Out of which, I got NIT and VIT but lack of knowledge and guidance made me miss out joining oppurtunity and in the end I got chandigarh university.
