Remarks

The admission process was very simple, first of all, they conducted an entrance examination through which they shortlisted the students according to their marks. Then the students were provided with some dates on which they were allowed to take admission. In the admission process students have to verify all the listed documents and payment of the first year's fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the faculty members are very nice and qualified. I chose BCom honours in my graduation and the term exams held every six months. The teachers provide the students with sufficient notes of the syllabus and the teaching method is not only based on traditional classroom learnings.

Placement Experience

In 2020 there were no placements because of the pandemic. But the companies come every year to offer a good placement for graduates according to their profile. I think the average package might be 5-6 lacs per annum (not sure just a prediction).

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year in the 2017-2020 session was nearly about 28000 per year for b.com students. But there were scholarships for students respective of their category. The students under obc, st, sc category can get scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus life was amazing. Every year the college conduct fest which includes a variety of competitions and programmes. Students are given a platform to showcase their talents in various fields such as drawings, paintings, dancing, theatre, and lots of many more events.

Course was good but education system was fail to make a course helpful that was main problem of our education system. No not for real world only for exams only. Change the education system of our India only, Very late exams are conducted.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Campus placement are down year-wise. If you want you can apply in Banking and Finance in Banking sector. A company like MELCON and other companies come for campus placement. They provide training for selected candidates.

I wanted to be a chartered accountant and it's not possible without b com course that's why I choose commerce. Facilities in this college are brilliant that's why huge number of student take admission in this college. Not just facilities also every staff of this college is so humble they solve your every problem anytime. Teaching method of every teacher in this college is so brilliant, they take test after completing every chapter that's why all student prepared for exam anytime. My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
