Honest Review with all necessary details

GBU conducts its own exam GBTU for admission. The admission process was very smooth, After the results, we're given a branch according to our rank. The ranking of branches at my time was Ai>CS>IT>ECE>EE>Mech>civil Then there was a counseling session for admission. You can also change your branch according to the availability of seats and your rank. Then after the opening of the college, there was an orientation session of 1 week, and then classes resumed.

IT branch was alloted to me according to my rank. The faculty-student ratio is quite decent. Some are highly qualified( From IIT's NIT's or foreign universities), few are average. Only the administration of the university is poor. There's always a delay in results. 2 exams per sem (Mid sem and end sem) in between we have timely quizzes, assignments, and presentations, also talking about practicals- Internal and external practicals are there. The level of the exam is medium.

Placements are quite decent, I won't say very good, But they are improving with every passing year. The placement cell is working on it. Placements for CS/IT/AI/ECE and Management are good compared to other branches. The highest is 15lac, the average is 3.5-4 lac. Approx 70% student gets placed. But if you go off-campus and work hard you will get better placement for sure.

Fee structure is quite decent approx 1,80,000/- per year.(tuition + hostel + mess). Since our university is a government university, State Government provides us Scholorship. Student gets Scholorship upto 50,000rs per year. Which is a very nice amount.

In total there are 4 fests, Annual fest- Abhivyanjana, Tech fest- TECHNOVATION, Sports fest - Shaurya Utsav, Food Fest- DAWAT-e-GBU The infrastructure of our college is the best in the whole UP. The campus is spread across 500 Acres with greenery all around, with a huge library and auditorium, meditation Centre and Grand walk. Sports facilities are very good, We have our own Stadium, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis court, gym, swimming pool, etc. There are many clubs, Techno club, Dramatics club(Drishyam), Dance club, cultural club and many more..

The hostel is compulsory for all. We have 6 hostels for girls and 13 for boys. The Hostel facilities are really good, except In time for girls(which is 7:00 pm). We have single room accomodation (single bed, almirah, bookshelf, study table, balcony), gym, TV room, table tennis court, badminton court. Mess food is really good, compared to other colleges in the locality.
