Admission through the national exam with a minimum score of around 40/100 (although this figure depends yearly and upon the difficulty of the exam). Results available in the form of a pdf with roll numbers of selected students with additional pdfs for the reserved (Alumni Quota, Child of employee and more). Before lockdown counseling process was simple, be present with the required documents in the location mentioned in the results on time. As per roll call selected students are required to fill the form and verify the documents.

I chose this course due to the various positive insights that I got from my current seniors and because of its return on investment. The course curriculum was changed in 2017 and is upgraded with the latest technologies. Though it is still lacking in some aspects, overall it provides a fine overview of the technologies and also sets a decent base for master's education. The teaching faculty here are well qualified and experienced and the quality of the lectures and the level of interaction with the faculty is satisfactory. Of course, some exceptions are always there. The term examinations are usually held timely (pandemic excluded). The exams require a decent level of understanding of the curriculum and a bit of effort towards previous year papers to score very good.

No specific semester eligibility for campus placements. It depends upon the requirements of the company. Very few placement opportunities, should not rely on them. The quality of opportunities are average. The below estimate does not represent the exact value and is only my opinion. For the previous year, a highest package from the department was around Rs6 lakh per annum. The average package would be around 3.5lakh. Most of the students go for masters. So till 2018, Wipro used to come and take some (2 or 3) students with sponsorship for Masters. I will be going for master's studies.

Worth every penny. Because of its status as National University, It comes under the central government, and therefore fee structure is extremely affordable with the even lower-middle-class viewpoint. Scholarship opportunities are significant on the basis of financial hardships and University itself has one of the largest supportive ALUMNI bases which from time to time arranges several opportunities. But one has to be very aware and always be on the lookout for such opportunities because most often they are not able to reach a large population of students. In terms of campus jobs, they have very less opportunities and one should not rely on them.

Digital classroom in the departments, water coolers, and filter, Air-conditioned Smart seminar Hall, Air-conditioned conference room. Since it is a national univeristy it has all almost all the facilities which are necessary for the students and more, sports, literary, athletics etc. The largest library in Asia. -Zarf -National Hackathon (Department of Computer Science) -Hackathons (Engineering College) -Eco Fest -Film Festival -National Literary Festival These are some of the few events that are held year-round. There are various Clubs in the University for everyone. Computer Science Society (Earlier ADC) Eco Club Literary Club Film Club Entrepreneurship Development Cell Drama Club Robo Club ZHCET Formula Racing Etc... Most of the clubs are internationally recognized and have won many awards.
