Remarks

i've given the exam of ipu , based on the result rank has been given . with this rank you can apply for various colleges of ipu. i've chosen HMR because it is near my house and second reason is that it's the only college who is takig my admission. Bad aspect of college- Location, Transportation, no playgroundGood aspect- Labs are good, Teachers are good.At end i would only say that you when you have last option to select college then only select this, otherwise pls don't choose it. also in recent years it has become worst.Placement- It is good for computer science student and average for other departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I've choosen Electrical and Electronics Engineering because i want to get a govt job in engineering. EEE is the best brach for that. But since i've passed i would recommend you all to take either computer science or electronics as they are at their peak now specially cs.faculties are decent, they are supportive along with their knowledge on their subject.Student ratio is also around 60:40. Qualification- Almost all teacher's had done m.tech with many of them are doing phd also.Exams- Their is one internal exam without practicals and one along external exam with external practicals in a semester. It is very easy to pass in ipu, an average student can easily pass this exam they just have to read akash a day before exam.#

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There will be minimum 2 internship compulsory to get the degree , more than that depends on you. usually 1st intership is done at 3rd year and is condcted at college and is compulsory and in 4th year you have to do the internship from outside. There will be two projects mini and major.mini will be in 7th sem and major in 8th sem.

Placement Experience

2.5

8 th semester students are eligible to sit in the placements, as i told earlier there is a placement for cs students but hardly any placements for other departments. Companies such as jaro, infosys etc had visited the campus in the past.if you will not get placed try for off campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time fee was 95k of 1 year.Their will be no fee hike , fee will remain the same as was in the first year.Scholarship- there is a scholarship for low income students. i don't think there was any scholarship for topper.Campus Placement- if you are in cs , you will get placed easily . there are hardly any placements for eee, ece and mae.

Campus Life

2.5

There are hardly any clubs working. it was just the name of club present. Library is decent but the canteens and park are not upto the mark.Campus are is very limited. There are hardly any shops outside. There are just farming everwhere.

Admission

No i was not been interviewed or given any exam for this. Because our admission is done through IPU exam. every ipu college take admission based on ipu results. Now admission is done through jee mains rank, you can directly get admission through jee mains rank.

Placement Experience:

Placements cell works for the placements but gets bare minimum or very low profile courses. Students become eligible to apply in third year. I dont have the data because I didn't apply for the placements. Avg package is around 400000 that also in low profile jobs. % of students placed is also very low. My plans after the degree is to either pursue MBA from tier 1 college or continue/start a business/family business as it is best time in india to pick pace

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I would rate it as moderately relevant it is not the most updated or most focused but still fine for building basic understanding, some parts are outdated, but overall cover the essential concepts needed for the subject

With computers they teach us excel and everything and its really nice in this technical era that we are continuously learnibg and learning. I even joined my internship and there too i used all my learnings from college. So overall i love this as i can focus on other things too
