Remarks

I mainly chose to study here because a friend of mine recommended me to study here. As i did my research i came to know more about the college and most importantly the placements it offered and the admission process. In order to study here i had to sit for an entrance test called BITS Admission Test (BITSAT). The admissions were given on the basis of this or either all India or state topper. I also had to go through a GD/PI and counselling after which i was allotted a seat. For admissions i submitted my 10+2 and graduation marksheets including my TC and character certificate, and all my other personal details. The charges for the BITSAT form is 3400 rs for male candidates and 2900 rs for female candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had pursued my BBA and i was working for a year but then i was not satisfied with the salary so i decided to study further and gain more knowledge for a better career prospect. In my previous college there were no placements as well so I searched for my own job and was working as a product manager in a start company called greenfuzz. The faculty were very good and professional. Through them i have learned a lot about different career prospects and their teaching methodology consisted of lectures and assignments were given. This is a 2 year program but it was broken down into semester system which made it a bit easier to pass in the university exam. Attendance was compulsory with a minimum of 75%.

Placement Experience

5

When it comes to placements and internships, this college is very good. It has a dedicated team of placement cell and connects us students with prominent recruiters. There should be no back papers and a candidate should have a good GDPA maintained as well. We can sit for as many as interviews until we get placed with the top recruiters being companies like Amazon, TATA, Flipkart etc. The highest package offered can be upto 15 lakhs p.a with the lowest being 3.4 lakhs p.a

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees were hiked every year by a 5 to 10 %. The total cost for my course was Rs 7,12,000. it was to be paid at the beginning of each semester. In it, included the campus fee, security fee, tuition fee and examination fee. There were other charges included as well. We also have scholarships programs. For a graduate like me, we could work as well in research programs and teaching assistance ship. Scholarships were need based and merit based as well.

Campus Life

5

There are events taking place every now and then. We have events like Pearl which promotes art, dance, quizzes and other events as well. It is usually held in the month of February with guest bands performance as well. We also have college sports known as Arena which features major events like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football and other sporting activities. it also hosts TEDx talks with prominent speakers and also organizes techno- management fest known as ATMOS.
