Remarks

Good:-1- Location is one of the reason why students select this college. College is near New Delhi so one can easily find coaching of his/her choice to prepare for any competative exams.2- Compared to other UPTU colleges campus is quite nice here. Feels spacious and green.3- Faculties here are quite talented and supportive except for some well exceptions are always there.4- Placements are decent.Bad-1- The decent placement i talked about is for CS/IT branch. Very few core companies visit college.2- Increase in management quota and low rank( in jee main and UPSEE) students are declining college name as they come here only to waste time.3- Your have to rely mainly on self study to score good grades. Admission process- Jee main, UPSEE, management quota

Course Curriculum Overview

Since college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University so course curriculum is designed by the University. Syllabus is almost same as IITs atleast for core branches i can say that.We have total 8 semesters and exam is conducted by the University on per semester basis.College have total of approx 4000 students and 250 faculties.Some teachers here are really good at teaching except for few i don't know how they got jobs here.As far as exams are considered by just doing little self study you easily pass, if only getting passing marks is your motto.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in CS/IT branches with highest salary 20+ sometimes even 30+ lakh. But placements are poor in core branches.Students of core branches generally opt in non core companies for placements or they also get quite nice off campus jobs as JSS still carries its old reputation.Many students here in core branches prepare for any competition so they don't bother placements. Percentage of placement in CS/IT- 90 plusPercentage of placement in other branches - 50 percentage

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is taken annually here.Fees- 120000 approx.Hostel fee is taken seperate. If you get admissions here through Uttar Pradesh Technical entrance exam then you will also get option of fee waiver for economically weaker or high rank scoring students.Students can also opt for scholarship given by Uttar Pradesh government, but those are only for those students whose parents are not in government jobs and are economically weaker or have any reservations.

Campus Life

Campus life is good here. We have quite spacious and green campus here. We have cafeteria and canteen inside the campus too.College conducts 4 day annual fest known as zealicon in march which is quite nice considering the college.Annual sports day known as maytri is conducted.We also have zonals which is basically inter college sports competition. We have robo wars also conducted during zealicon event which is awesome. College have many societies (clubs) so any student can choose any society of his/her choice such as technical, management, dancing, singing, poetry, photography etc etc

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

My college life was a rollar coaster comedy life.

Likes

The first aspect of the college that I would like to appreciate was the class size but apart from that the infrastructure like class bench were not in proper condition which truly need to be in concern like many sideways.
The learning facility of the college like in terms of infrastructure and and the resources were really good and faculty where also the supporting too much.
The effectiveness of placement services and the support provided for career advice advancement I would like to say most of the student where Got placed in very reputable position in company which you can also locate them on LinkedIn ID they are .

Dislikes

The first thing that I don't like about the colleges the they say that there is 100% placement which is completely not whether it is our college or other College it's never up to the mark.
Second thing I didn't dislike about the colleges that the mindset of student they were it's okay that they were competitive but like they were the kind of leg pulling person throughout the semester they didn't like to see somebody gaining more.

Placement Experience:

Speaking about the campus placement and internship opportunity the company visit for this college campus where not so good like they were decent labeled but not that high profile company apart from this the college also provided internship for deserving candidate where applying and most not always getting but let me tell you you have to also work hard no college used to give complete internship and placement either it's our college or you can take another college also the same condition so if you are thinking guaranteed internship and college placement so I would like to recommend work hard, if you literally want on campus placement. Don't get this pointed if you are not getting placement from college you can apply for self help also as it is a digital AI and lots of job companies like LinkedIn and reputable websites are also there to apply for just I would like to say build your skill ,upskill yourself throughout the college semester period workout also on your psychic like body posture and good looking and personality developing developing which is most important criteria plus charm in the job purpose and you will give a good status.

I really liked the faculty, and the environment of this college, the peers really helpful and competitive and great learning experience.

Dislikes

There is so much happening in college that it gets a little bit confusing sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because its really a noble profession and I would like to contribute by best into this course. The curriculum preparess me for the real world applications really well especially moot courts. The teaching methods of the teachers are really fun and engaging they interact with the whole class. Makes it easy to understand the subject. No improvemnets needed right now. The exams are of moderate level and of 2hrs max internals and helps in improving.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The Placement of our College is quite good just because the university open recently on year 2021. The Average Placement is 4,00,000 per annum. And Higher Placement is 8,00,000 per annum. There is many companies who visited in our college like Suzuki,Eefco, Reliance,etc

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

Amazing college!

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

Brutal and honest review of jss college

Talking about fees it is much less than other collges and placement is also goood and hostel food and timing is really good compared to other colleges. And i didn't get rejected from other collges but fees was high so i opted for this collge.
