Remarks

This is one of the best college in Pune for engineering students. Also they have huge contact in industry which helps students for their placement. One of the bad thing is it is not in main city. Admission process is so easy just you have to apply for engineering from DTE website and admission process in college is also so clear just submit your documents and fill up the signal page form. When I am in 12 th I got information of this college from my senior.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Engineering had many opportunities in it industry so I choose computer Engineering. Almost all faculty members done PhD in their domain so they are excellent. There 2 semester in each year and each semester has one mid Sem exam which is of 30 marks and end sem exam which is 70 marks. If your concepts are clear then it is so easy to pass the exam.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities in our college is quite good. Criteria for campus drive is depends on company but generally criteria is minimum 60% in ssc and HSC and minimum 6.5 CGPA without any live backlog. Maximum package is 15 lpa ani average package is 4 lpa. Around 70% students get job opportunities from college placements. I got offer of 5 lpa and now I am working with company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee for the course is 3.71 lack. Also there is scholarship opportunity from university. If you are from OBC category then you get 50% scholarship on tuition fee and if you are from sc st category then you get 90% scholarship on tution fee. I got a job from campus placement with 5lpa

Campus Life

College life is so good. There is sihgad karrandak fest which consists of all sports, technical and drama competitions. DJ night is one of the best part of this fest. This fest is in February. There is a central library which is 24*7 open with 5 floors. There is cafe at top floor which is open from 2 pm to 2 am. And view from this cafe is awesome. There are many groups in college like anwita for cultural competitions, team robotics for robotics related competition, team supra, team haha, etc

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
