Walk through Gossner

Since the time was passing by so soon, my family got tensed including me too. So we thought to apply for Gossner which stands as the second top college in Ranchi. And one of my uncle suggested this college too. I gave and entrance which was pretty simple and got selected. They had send results in their official website with the dates regarding the submission of all the certificates and the amount to be paid. The process is simple, me and my father went to meet the HOD and submitted our certificates then they instructed us to pay the amout in the office and get a receipt of it, which we hve to bring to college once the classes gets started.

As I want to become an English professor, so this was the course to be taken by me. The professors are well educated amd have passed UGC NET so they r efficient in their works. In every classes there are 150 students (max). We are provide with every notes and name of the books or the required website for our own research. The exams were lagging behind a bit but they will catch the pace by the end.

I dont have much idea about placements since I am in BA. But there is 20-30% of placements for BBA students, with the package ranging from 2LPA - 4LPA. My plan is to do MA in English and also to do coaching for my NET exams.

The fees is affordable for all. And there are many types of program like volunteering, NCC, NSS, and other jobs that we can part take. There are other financial assistance such as loans and grants, scholarships too.

Every year they conduct the youth fest which continues for three days and college is decorated and students from different departments participate in all the activities. Then there is freshers and farwell too, which is so much fun. There are many social activities that is conducted by the NSS candidates like blood donation and all. There are various clubs to be joined to. I joined in the communication club, and it was fun. There is a library, which is very good and it has every books that one need.

No we did not had any grouo discussion or personal interview. We just had a entrance exam. The exam was so simple. It had mostly asked the famous authors amd some grammatical questions whuch were so easy. At last we had to write a essay too.
