You can take admission in this University through CUCET (CENTRAL UNIVERSITY COMMON ENTRANCE TEST). The best part about Universities open under the act of parliament 2009 is integrated courses. So you can continue your PG in Central University without giving any entrance. One disadvantage over old central Universities is labs of some departments are not that advanced. But if we see pure science (Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences)courses essential apparatus and instruments are available. You can take entrance in this college through central University common entrance test. Application form release in 2nd week of march. You have to qualify this exam for getting admission in Central University.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it has a broad application. You can go in any field of your choice. The best part about Central Universities are faculties are very good and have excellent knowledge in there field. Almost all are foreign return so they have connections in Indian as well as foeigen Universities and that is really very helpful for students. They are very supportive. This university is very perticular about exam but a bit irregular in terms of results. Consistency and practice is very important throughout the course for getting good marks in semester and sessional examination.
Internships Opportunities
You can do internship wherever you want. It could be different IITs, industries, CSIR lab or any research association. Because of best faculties available you get really handsome opportunity to work with any association, which will uplift your CV.
Placement Experience
You are eligible for campus placement in the last year of your course. Different NGOs, Educational Companies, Pharma Companies etc come for the college placement. Depending on your skills package are alloted. Average package is 4 to 8 lakhs if you go through college placements. Since it is a Central University so fees are really affordable. Different scholarships are also available on financial background and also for students lies in the reserved. Fees in odd semester is more as compare to even semester. For odd sem it is approximately 7200 or less.
Campus Life
Central University of Jharkhand is very beautiful green campus. Khelotsav is anual sports fest in this university. It is important to mention here that it is the biggest sports fest in Jharkhand at University or college level. Navadhar is techno cultural fest celebrated every year. Along with this different festivals are celebrated at University level. University has good library facility you can assess almost all journals. Different theater groups and different sports are available thought that students can follow their hobby too.
