After alot of research reagrding the colleges for engineering i. i came to end byt opting chitkara becuase of it's growth in previous years. For admissions, you need a 60% minimum in 12 boards. for admission just fill out the form. on basis of your details, you will receive a call within 4-5 days. they will schedule a counseling slot for you. where you need to carry your fees for the first semester i.e.,82000 +10000rs for ERP fees(ERP fees are charged only once}. On the counseling day, you will be sent to room. where you will be asked some questions related to your course and a Personal Interview will be taken.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great and organized in a great way. Once the subject gets added you will be having your Course Handouts, which have all the details,syllabus, examination , assessment details included in it. The faculties are doctorate in their specific subjects or Fields. The way of teaching is great, able to understand each and every concept.
Internships Opportunities
Our college encourages the students to get internships, how to ace the interviews, and all. There are guidance sessions for students on regular basis. we get to know about the rounds of placements and all. Our College offers a good number of internships for its students. CEED and CURIN hire interns for the projects.
Placement Experience
Placements are begun from the third year. nearly 100+ companies visit our university and recruits. The highest package is around 38 Lakhs. average is 8 lakhs nearly all students get placed from CS Engineering. my plans would be to do a startup with CEED before my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 82000rs per semester. 10000 rs are ERP charges which are paid with your first sem policy. Jobs are available on campus, like CEED(entrepreneurship department) CURIN (university research department) they offer a huge number of internships across the different streams and fields.
Campus Life
The functions are conducted annually, even on some dj nights along with comedy sessions by famous stand-up comedians. Fests are like:Rangrezz, Codewars, etc The library is very big, wide availability of book. You also get Ebooks access on libraries' websites. There are many clubs in our university like ACM, DSC, NSS, C2S2, IEEE, etc. The events are organized regularly. There are many things which you will be able to explore.
Interview Experience
# Interview was quite easier. # questions were related to the engineering field few questions from physics, like that. # just be confident during your interview. #I just revised my 12 class PCM topics before the admission. and I cleared all the interviews.
