Remarks

I applied for at most all IITs but according to my rank, I was getting this college. I am for EWS general quota. The minimum mark for admission is our brach is 130 in jee advanced. First, we were called by branch wise they called everyone and verification process of documents started then they verified all things such as jee results 10,12 marks sheet etc. Then they proceed for admission like making I'd and other things

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this brach because I was this only according to my rank. Faculty students ratio is good at 100:400. All faculties are Ph.D. holders. The study method of some teachers is good and for some, it is not. The terms exams held after every 2 months in form of mid sem and end sem. The overall process for exams is good syllabus is also distributed accordingly.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are companies like amazon, microsoft, deshaw, Goldman Sachs offers good it internship with a good stipend of about 40k to 50k. The major field of it project is web development, android development and ml project mainly.

Placement Experience

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. There are companies like amazon , deshaw, Goldman Sachs, microsoft major companies come and also many other IT companies also come and psu, hcl like core companies also come. In CSE almost all people get placement and in us and ece ratio is good but in below branch placement is average. I want to do a job in the software field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for each semester are about 100000 and 15000 for the hostel but by getting a good cgpa one can get a scholarship can compensation in tuition fees. I got marut cum means scholarship in my semester based on my CGPA

Campus Life

There are 4 fests named e summit wissenaire, alma fiesta, ASHWAMEDHA. They held in the spring semester. There are almost all types of books available according to brach in our library. There are everyday sports activities that happen on working days named EAA There are societies for the student community in tech, socio field.

Hostel Facilities

We have been provided 1 room for each in hostal and one waamshing machine in each floor. And cleanings in floors is very good. So overall we have been provided very good hostal rooms. The hostel mess food is also good but not like as house food. Quality is also good and quantity also. There is rooms available for each student admitted in college and admission process is also simple being only registered

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
