Entrance Preview

I went through Anna University Chennai counselling and they asked me to select a college in the area that i wanna study. So i had a check and selected the college though Govt. quota.

Internships Opportunities

No they didnt provide i m not telling that i m a perfect student and they didnt allow me. They normally dont allow any students who they dont like to attend intern or workshop or conferences.

Placement Experience

When i was completing there placement was bit good but before that our seniors have not seen any good placements for three years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Govt scholarships and loans were provided not by the college but the govt.

Exam Structure

The semester were conducted by anna university so my college cant intervene into that they just follow orders.

Faculty

Not all the staffs are qualified because when i was there in the college i have seen passed out students becoming staffs as fresher is teaching is a job for freshers without even experience.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
