SFIT overall college review

Applied to Vidyavardhini College and St. Francis Institute Of Technology, got into SFIT in the first round so did not opt for the second round. No quota availed. The process was through mahadbt portal same as for other MU colleges of engineering. The exam required for admission was MHT -CET.

The curriculum is designed by MU. I chose this course as college is well known for courses with which it had initially started and great placements too. There are 2 internals for each sem and studied well throughout easy to pass. Faculty have mostly done Bachelors.

Internships are provided but they have no stipend, but we get to learn a lot as field experience gives a good approach towards concepts. Some companies are Sahu Technologies, The Sparks Foundation that gave internship this year in C, python

The placements are excellent at st Francis institute of technology and students are eligible for placement in 3rd year itself and many big companies also visit for campus interviews like L&T, Reliance Jio, TCS, etc the highest package given was around 18LPA and avg is 3.6LPA also 95% of students are placed in these placements. I plan to grab a job from college placements.

Fees are constant since my admission i.e approx 110000. A bit high compared to government colleges but amenities are also provided by the college. Scholarship is available for minorities as per the Maharashtra government.

The campus is very clean and maintained, security guards are everywhere around the perimeter of the college and the library is very well maintained with rich content books both about studies and books for casual reading as well. You can renew books through their websites. The indoor sports facility is available as well as basketball and volleyball courts. CSI, IEEE, ISTE are some student groups.

The hostel facility is also very nice at st Francis institute of technology and the registration process for the same is also very simple and the facilities provided are also very good and the rooms are neat and clean and very affordable as well.

These rounds were very fun as the teachers also participated in this and it was very good GD, for admission one can apply from cet or jee mains marks and the process is very simple and efficient and then particular rounds are held which decide our seats depending on our marks.
