Entrance Preview

I took CET exam, got 35000 Rank. All the IT companies are very near to this. Its a good college for studying.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure will give the latest trends in the IT and its more focused on latest technologies like Python, cloud computing.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internship. They have agreements with IT companies and will get the internship from that company.

Placement Experience

On an average 70% students are placed. Companies like Tech Machindra, Infosys, TCS, Comvalt etc. Starting from 3.5 lakhs to 12lakhs depends upon company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible for CET(governament counselling) 50K for year.

Faculty

The faculty is more experienced and they are very much interested in teaching. Seminars are conducted and in lab they teach very patiently.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Like companies like Amazon , Delloite , Indiamart,Cisco ,IBM, Mercedez benz R&d INDIA,Oracle , NVIDIA, Samsung,Tata, Wipro, currently in 2025 average package is of 11.9 LPA highest CTC is 71.94 LPA and median is 9.34 LPA currently 77,23% placed and remains ongoing Doing my masters in mechatronics or CSE from IITs or from Foreign univerisites

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
