The college is good. The faculty is good and helpful. The management there might be the problem. Not very good based on my experience. But overall one the best and worst experiences were in this college. It will help if we work hard and keep a good attitutde until the end it will be the most fruitful as many opportunities await after the course.

I wrote the Common Entrance Test(CET) and my rank was 26k.I wanted a seat in the Electronics domain only and I was too far behind on my rank to get a good seat but fortunately I got Telecommunication Seat in my college (Which was one of the best 2 colleges in my city) .

Research is encouraged but not focused on. The subjects in the course were stressed more and there were occasional tests to check out competence on the syllabus.

The college does not provide internship. But we were welcome to apply for internships on our own, but they provided no stipend, just a certificate stating the duration of the internship.

It's in an acceptable standard. There was only TCS which did mass recruitment during my time, but the principal would arrange for us to apply for pool campus drives and jobs that would come to our sister colleges etc.

There were many events celebrated in my college but there was 1 grand event celebrated every even semester, Insignia. The college left no stone unturned for that particular event.

During my time, since I took a government seat, I had to pay fees of 33k and college maintenance fee of around 10k. So in total I would pay around 40k+.

There are scholarships available for SC/ST,OBC students, minority students and for students whose family income is below 2lakh/year. For information the college office can be contacted.

Campus life is not that great as more importance is focused on syllabus assignments etc. In my class there was 1:1 ratio of boys and girls(it is different for different departments). There are official fresher and farewell parties and other unsolicited parties. Plenty of workshops(even you can conduct 1 if you are skilled at something in particular).

Never stayed in the hostel. But I heard from those who stay there that it is good, a much better option than staying outside, which is as bad as it is expensive. I tasted the food there too and found it good

Never personally interacted with an alumni but I hear they are helpful to students who approach. During departmental events the alumni who are doing well come as chief guests and give advise on what they did right etc.

The exam structure was decided by the University we were affiliated to(VTU). During my time it consisted of 2 internal tests, lab exams and the final exam of 25,50 and 100 marks each.

During my course duration the faculty was great,except maybe 1 or 2(only in terms of expressing the knowledge they had), but they did not lack in knowledge and encouraged questions and provided help whenever asked. They encouraged learning and focused more on understanding the concept and original research by the individuals.
