Feedback on The Oxford College of Engineering

The Oxford College of Engineering has a good infrastructure with well established atmosphere and with friendly facilities. I preferred this college because of its excellence in placements. The admission process took in August 2017. I got a seat through the SNQ quota. I got to know about this college from passed out students.

I was interested in the technical field so I chose the Information Science Engineering branch. The college contains a good number of faculty to teach their students. The faculties are well qualified and have good knowledge about the subjects. The internals used to be conducted monthly once and was easy to pass.

The college offers internship opportunities to its students. The pre-final and final year students can participate in the drive. They also encourage in doing projects. From the 5th semesters, students are guided to do projects in the related subjects.

The students from final year and pre final year are eligible for placements and internships opportunities. The placements department takes effort in making their students gets placed. The range of packages is from 3LPA to 10LPA. I would like to get placed in a well known company with a good package.

The fee of the college was affordable. The college encourages financial assistance by providing many scholarships, like Vidyasiri, Vidyasarathi, NSP etc. The placements opportunities are good in the college. They also provide internship opportunities.

The College conducted some technical and annual festivals like ethnic day, Impulse, Ignus and many more in even and odd semesters. The library was well equipped with all department book of good authors. Sophisticated classrooms are provided. Encouraged in extracurricular activities.

The hostels were provided with well ventilated rooms with well furnished bed, cupboards for each student. The quality of food was good. There was a bit problem in the water facility. The area is surrounded by many more PGs with well established facilities.
