Remarks

It's a fastest growing IIM and it has a location advantage being financial or industrial capital of Andhra Pradesh as it given enormous opportunities. Also it has very low batch size which is significant advantage and it has overall decent placement scenario.

Course Curriculum Overview

As i was always interested in finance, this IIM has highly qualifies faculties and also faculty student ratio is 1:13 approximately which is quite decent. Faculties not only helps in academics but also to prepare for the final placements interview.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 1540000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For summers, many established companies like MTR, Deloitte, KPMG, Yes bank, ICICI lombard as well as startups like Sureti IMF visits the campus. There is 100% placements in internship also with an avg stipend of 62 thousand.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good among baby IIMs and roles offered by companies are decent enough but not so good. There is 100% placements since its inception and Yes bank, ABG, MTR, Dalmia group, ICICI lombard are some of the good companies giving avg package of 15 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees for entire course of 2 years including mess and hostel fees is 15,40,000 which is very much lower than other IIMs but there was a fees hike this year despite pandemic and online classes which is not at all good thing. Only mess fees are deducted otherwise complete fees are taken which is not good gesture I feel.

Campus Life

As we are yet to go and see the campus and hostel but still almost all event be it business conclaves or guest lectures or be it cultural events and concerts, all conducted online. Alumni meet is also conducted named 'Shanshrey' to interact with alumni and see their perspective.

Best Memories I got

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible to attend placements. Highest package is 9lpa and average package is 4lpa in all majors. 98% students will be placed. There will be no fault from the placement cell The will bring 100s of companies to the college It totally depends on students capability. In prder to it placement cell take care of communication and aptitude classes provided to the students

For admission, you have to appear for a CAT exam based upon that the college releases a list of shortlisted candidates via mail based on the cut-off percentile set by the college (last year 85 percentile).
