Remarks

DIT University is a good college for engineering and other courses also. The location of this college is too good. The admission process is very simple it can be applied online without any headache. The admissions are open from April to July. As I mentioned above the goods of the college so I can prefer this college. You can visit https://www.dituniversity.edu.in for more info.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I selected this course because I am interested in this very much and my parents prefer this. Faculties are enough in the college and also well educated, the faculty-student ratio is about 1:40 The qualifications of the faculty are good as many of them are Ph.D. qualified. There are two exams held every semester (Mid-Term & End-Term).

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many companies offer internships in this collage-like Adobe, TCS, Tata, Amazon, Byju's, Lenovo, Dell, Zscaler, etc. The roles are decided by the companies I don't know much about that. To get a good placement the students participated in the projects as much as possible according to their treats.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 7th semester students become eligible for the campus placement. In DIT there are approx 1500+ companies visit for placement like Adobe, Tata, Honda, Wipro, TCS, Lenovo, Dell, Zscaler, and many more. The highest package last year was 35lpa and the average package is about 5-6lpa. Around 70-80% of the students get placement. I am also planning for the campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are high but what can we do in that case all colleges have their own fee structures. There is the scholarship according to the merit of the class 12th and the JEE scores If your merit is greater than 90 you get approx 30% scholarship if greater than 80 you will get 20%. And for the Himalayan States, it is 26%.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many annual fests and tech fests are organized by the clubs of the students every month. There are all your required books and extra interesting books are always available in the library of the college. Most of the classes are very good but some have iron chairs which are not comfortable sometimes. There are many sports to play in the college and hostels also like basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. There are too many clubs in the college to join and connect to other peoples of the college.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.
