Remarks

IIMV is the fastest growing IIM among new IIMs and also it has a very small batch size which is significant advantage. Apart from that it is one of the industrial hub in south India so it is easier for recruiter to visit the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students. Apart from written exams, it has group projects and presentation, simulations, class participation weightage. Also summer internship of 2 months is mandatory at the end of 1st year. Faculty here is very knowledgeable and approachable. Faculty student ratio is 1:10 approx.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 1540000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is also provided from the campus only and some of the prominent recruiters visited this year were ICICI Lombard, Lubrizol, MTR, Yes bank. Highest stipend from the batch was 2 lakh and average was 62 thousand for 2months.

Placement Experience

IIM V is showing 100% placement since past few years. Yes bank, MTR, KPMG, Dalmia are some of the prominent recruiters. Highest package offered was approx. 27.5 LPA for last year and average was approx. 13.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for entire course is 1540000 which includes hostel as well as mess fees. You'll get loans easily from any bank based on just admission letter. Scholarship is also availed to the financially needy people from the institute.

Campus Life

As the entire year is spent through online classes only, can't comment much about campus life. However few events like 'Sanshrey' & 'Samarambh' which is cultural event, were conducted on online mode also for more interaction among batches and to showcase their talent.

Best Memories I got

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible to attend placements. Highest package is 9lpa and average package is 4lpa in all majors. 98% students will be placed. There will be no fault from the placement cell The will bring 100s of companies to the college It totally depends on students capability. In prder to it placement cell take care of communication and aptitude classes provided to the students

For admission, you have to appear for a CAT exam based upon that the college releases a list of shortlisted candidates via mail based on the cut-off percentile set by the college (last year 85 percentile).
