I wanted to pursue a career in analytics. Thus, because of my inclination towards analytics, I opted for this course. The admission process was wat and ge, PI. I preferred it because of my interests. I referred to Collegedunia while selecting my college. SCMHRD is included in one of the top b schools of India and the analytics program comes under the top 10 analytics courses of India.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course includes a strong foundation of python and R as programming languages. Visualization tools like tableau are also taught in the course. Most of the faculty are visiting faculties who are industry experts already working in the Analytics domain.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities to every student. The summer placements are 100 percent achieved by the college. Good companies from every sector visit the campus for summer placements.
Placement Experience
The placements are 100 percent achieved by the college. Every student is placed in a good company with a decent package. Companies like fractal analytics, brillio, cisco, ecolab, etc visit the campus for final placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for an analytics MBA is less than a core MBA. The fee is approximately 16 lakhs for 2 Years. The hostel fees are around 1.5 lakh for one year including mess charges, this is included in 16 lakhs. The loan is available without any collateral.
Campus Life
There are different committees in the college that are responsible for conducting various tasks and events in the college. The annual fest is Neev. The classrooms are fully equipped with wifi. There is a play area where basketball, cricket, etc can be played. There is a gym and swimming pool also in the college.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel is near the college. The D hostel is around 800-900 m away from the college. The rooms are sharing-based and have bathrooms attached to them. The mess provides average meal quality. The rooms are cleaned frequently.
Interview Experience
The process includes giving the SNAP exam conducted in December and January. The score for shortlisting varies every year. The shortlisted students then face a written ability test, group discussion exercises, and personal interview rounds. The personal interview is mostly based on past work experience and other general questions.
