Summer placement at IIM Visakhapatnam

IIM Visakhapatnam is one of the new IIMs in the country but doing exceptionally great in all dimensions with respect to other old IIMs. IIM Visakhapatnam has a record of giving 100% placement since its inception, with adding more-n-more companies into its bag.

I believe the course curriculum for all IIMs is almost the same however IIM Bangalore is the mentor for IIM Visakhapatnam hence we started following their curriculum. All the faculties are excellent in their domain. Most of the faculties are IIM pass out with years of industry experience and some of the faculties are having experience of teaching in foreign universities like the University of Connecticut, University of Minnesota, etc. We have a trimester system in IIM Visakhapatanam and student evaluation is based on class participation, assignments, midterms, end terms, and project submissions

Yes, IIM Visakhapatnam offers paid internship opportunities. For the batch, 2020-22 highest internship offer was Rs.2lakhs. 52 companies participated in the process, some of the prominent recruiters include Dalmia, Tafe, Bosch, Yes bank, v-guard, and many more.

IIM Visakhapatnam has able to give 100% placement since its inception. All the reports are available on its website. Despite pandemic, IIM Visakhapatnam has able to give its best with the highest stipend of Rs.2lakh for summer placement 2020-22 and Rs.27lakhs for final placements 2018-20. For 2019-20 placement report is yet to publish.

The total fee for the 2-year residential program (PGP) is Rs.1540000/-. There are various scholarships available for the students and financial assistance is also provided by the college to the economically weak students.

With a variety of students, clubs, and committees campus life at IIM Visakhapatnam is active and vibrant. You just name it IIM Visakhapatnam has all of it- cultural clubs, sports clubs, social outreach, professional clubs, and societies.
