Remarks
I choose this college because I had a dream of getting a degree in Photography in core depth. Here I was getting Photography degree in B.Sc as well as I can get to learn Photography for 3 years. The faculty were really helpful. The ambience of the college was good. Each and everyone was really helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this course we went through various subjects which is of Sound in movies, animations and also in games, then Photography with different topics such as Wildlife, Street, Architecture, Fashion, Product, etc. Also we got to learn about videography how it's being shot the post processed. The course was a total combination of Photography, Film Making and Sound Engineering.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship while I was in college. It was a Fashion studio in RT Nagar Bangalore. The name of the studio is TJPDS. The Photographer I have worked with was Manikandan Thimma. He guided me through different stages in Fashion Photography and also I went with him in Shoots as to experience how actually the process works in real.
Placement Experience
Campus placements depend on the students performence through whole course. If placements happens then it starts from 5th semesters only. It doesn't happen for photography, Sound Engineering or Film Making. But we got reference from our faculties.
College Events
The life in campus was really enjoyable. As I was a Photography student I always found a place for Photography and in library I used to search for different magazines related to photography, different books on photography and little bit knowledge on other topics as well. Every year we used to have a small fest in college which includes, Board Games that was made by Gaming students and many more. Photography Clubs for all the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee of this course is a little higher than the other courses. But there is an option for Loan department in Bank and also University takes payment for every 2 semester (total 6 semester). Campus jobs depends on the students performance through whole course.
Admission
Yes there was a Person Interview or a 1: 1 session with the Course Head. They check about your interest towards the course a little bit knowledge about the subject and why do you really need to take that as your career.
