I had heard that placements are good at this college and that all the faculties are very friendly. When I had visited the campus for the admission process the environment of the campus gave me a positive feeling that this is the right place to start my career. The admission process was in the month of June and the process was smooth and fast.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to explore the IT industry and the new emerging technologies. The faculties here motivate students to achieve their goals. The college also gives students to explore other essential technologies by conducting various workshops. The timely assessments that happen over a period of two months help students to prepare for the university exams.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities inside the campus with Pace Wisdom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. a startup company at MITE started by the alumni of the college, Mr. Mohd. Azzan Patni. PWS specializes in Enterprise Software Solutions, Mobile App development, Analytics, and BI Tools.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the seventh semester. Placement training starts from the third semester. Students will be trained in aptitude assessments and group discussions. 500+ job offers are made every year. 21 lakhs per annum is the highest package offered. Over 167 companies visit the campus every year. Some of the companies to name are Mindtree, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, IBM, Siemens, KPIT, Byju's Amazon, Accenture.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no fees hike policy. The The college itself doesn't provide any financial assistance as such. I was recruited for the campus placement by SLK Software Services Pvt. Ltd with a CTC of 3.25 lakhs.
Campus Life
The lush green campus and the massive infrastructure provides all the essentials required for students. The campus also has separate hostels for boys and girls. The classrooms are air-conditioned and consist of projectors and whiteboards. The library consisted of many books and journals but sometimes the textbooks weren't available in expected numbers for students to refer especially during internals and other exams. The annual event named Sentia occurs in the month of March every year. Colleges all across the state send their students to participate in technical and cultural events to showcase their talents. The winners were felicitated on the day of the awards night. Musical celebrities from Bollywood are invited every year. Euphoria the cultural club of MITE is a huge community of creative individuals to nurture their hidden talents.
Interview Experience
No there were no interviews or tests. The students were admitted either on CET ranks or by management quota. However, I had written the KCET exam and acquired a rank of 32,019. The admission process did not include any individual examining of the candidates.
