Remarks :

FISAT is very famous for the college Infrastructure and the facilities provided by them. The college management release huge amount of funds to support the extracurricular activities and for better infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course provided deep knowledge on how to analyse and design electronic systems and communication systems. We also get a high level knowledge on embedded systems and IOT. This course also gives an introduction to electrical engineering and coding.

Placement Experience :

Almost 300 students get placed each year. Most of the companies are from IT sector. For electronics and electrical many CORE companies also take part in placements.The college doesn't provide internship as of my knowledge.

College Events :

We have sports and arts events conducted each year. We call the arts event ARANGU, students actively takes part in all the events which gives the colour to our college. The college also conducts inter college competition on event BHARATHAM similar to NIT RAGAM

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees have increased now. The college is worth for the fees the take as they have the best infrastructure amongst colleges in Kerala. I think the fees structure is expensive when compared to the government engineering colleges. If you are looking for private engineering colleges, FISAT is the best.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We can apply for MOMA scholarship. I am not aware of any loans offered by college. For loans we can approach the banks like Federal Bank,South Indian bankand SBI,which are nearby the college locality

Campus Life :

The college has a FAB lab which can be used by students for making the prototype they need. The college had a well established library which is digitalised. The football ground of the college is of international stantard. Apart from that college has basketball court, gymnasium, volleyball court and badminton Court.

Hostel Facilities :

There are two mens hostel and a women's hostel. Mess was not very good while I was studying there. The hostel and mess are maintained neatly. Hostels also have CCTV cameras, study hall and TV. We can experience the hospitality of the college here.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

The college hasn't conducted any alumni meet for us yet. The alumni network is well maintained by the college faculties. Network is also maintained as WhatsApp group and Facebook group. The seniors are very vibrant,they makes sure everyone is doing their part for the college.

Admission :

Admission via management quota using valid entrance score of KEAM. The form is available from the college. This is followed by a screening process where each applicant will be called based on a merit list prepared by the college.

Faculty :

The faculties are very caring and helping. Faculties here have deep subject knowledge and are alumni of prestigious engineering colleges in India. They also give much support for extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
