Remarks

I searched for Placements that were good as compared to other government colleges, Adobe came here, and the normal package was 8-10 lac. It was a lateral entry student and they enroll only 2 girls and 4 boys every year in CSE. It has a really good structure of campus, facilities for sports and other students activities. For admission, there was online counseling and after that, I needed to report physically for admission with all required documents between 23-25th July 2019. After that, I went to the hostel as I needed it, it was also good enough with good quality of services and food. I searched for this college on so many sites, a few of them are shiksha.com and collegedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was always interested in computer so I chose Computer Science and Engineering. The faculty members are highly qualified with good teaching skills they use presentations and other technical education instruments for students, It has separate classes for doubts of students. Even in this pandemic, our exams held offline in January 2021, as it is an autonomous college and it so there is no such issues for getting good marks, if one really study he/she will definitely secure good percentage. In my class there are 69 students(6 laterals included).

Internships Opportunities

2

The training and Placement cell of our college maintains the off-campus placements, so of course, there are so many opportunities for students in internships off-campus with the stipend of 4k-10k. If a person wants to do a project under a faculty, the faculty really help the students.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students can apply for internships from the 2nd year and for jobs students can apply from the 3rd year. Adobe, HCL, Tech Mahindra, COMNET, L&D, and more companies visited here this year. The average package is 3-6 lac, and the highest is 8-10 lac. On the safe side, students must have 70% or more than this for getting placed. I wanted to get placed into Adobe, as it also focuses on the girl's ratio getting placed from campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Institute fees are 40000/year for the ECE, CSE, CE, CHE, ME, and 55000/year for the IT and EE branch. If you applied for hostel it's fees is 9600/year and Mess fees is 14000/ semester. And include some other charges like Wi-Fi, library charges, bus charges etc. It provides UP scholarship to eligible students.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is good here, there is greenery everywhere with a large area, there are a lot of places to visit. I enjoyed it very much before lockdown. Extracurricular activities conducted according to branch wise, every branch has its own council, and there are other councils and club also, like Literary Sub Council, Cultural sub-council, fine art and hobbies council, CODE club (a club for developer created by the students of the college in which every student of a different branch of BIET can participate). There is a Central Library and has a lot of books, reference books, and journals. There is an event PRABHANJAN for sports students that is conducted after every two years in the month of February, Foundation day is celebrated in September, UTSAV(Annual Cultural Fest) is celebrated as a fresher party for 1st-year students, UMANG for 2nd-year Lateral students in the month of January, Annual Technical Festival is celebrated for students to showcase their technical abilities.

Hostel Facilities

5

The cost of living in a hostel is 9600/ year and Mess charges are 14000/ semester. In the 1st year, students share rooms with other students, and after coming into 2nd year there are single-seater rooms for girls and in boys hostel, it is still sharing in rooms. The rooms of the hostel are really good, they are really spaced enough according to a single person, there are 2 big almirahs and there is a table-chair that is also provided in hostel rooms. There is a mess committee that takes care of food services, food is really good and healthy here. Registration was simple, you only need to pay the hostel fees, and download the payment receipt and show it in your hostel and they will allow you a room of your choice. But when your room's fan is not working it sometimes takes time to repair done by the college mechanic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
