Remarks

The college is top-ranked college in India and this pulls each and every medical aspirant out to this place and so it did to me. The admission process is quite lucid. You have just to register at the MCC official counseling website, fill in your choices of medical college and just wait for the counseling results and according to the college allotted you can take your admission out there. I preferred the college because of its rank and prestige.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the course because I was very thrilled about becoming a doctor and serving the poor and needy. The student-faculty ratio is around 10:1 to 20:1 in different departments and according to me, this is quite a good ratio. The tutors and professors are highly qualified here at the college and they impart quality education to us. The college conducts 2-semester exams and a professional exam in a year.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yes, my college offers a compulsory rotatory internship to the students like another medical college across India offers. During this time the interns are posted in different departments of the hospital and earn medical exposure and experience besides learning skills and attitudes. During the internship, my college gives a stipend of around Rs 25000 to the interns working. One can also do their internship from another college but they will not be entitled to a stipend.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is nothing called placement in the medical stream, unlike engineering courses. Each and every medical graduate graduating from medical school gets either a government job or a private job or starts its own medical practice. Those working in a private or a government setup earn a monthly salary of Rs 70000 per month to Rs 100000 per month. From my college, each and every students gets a job in any private and government medical college or hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic course fee of the college is Rs 1200000 per annum, hostel fee is Rs 110000 per annum for a double-bedded air-conditioned room and Rs 35000 per annum is the mess charge which offers 4 times of food a day bringing a total of Rs 1345000 per annum. There is no hike policy of fee in the college as seen in some colleges of Maharashtra. The college provides scholarships to its top 3 rankers of each academic session.

Campus Life

4

The college conducts 2 annual fests on the campus. One at the college and the other at the university. Besides this college also conducts several sports events on the college campus. one notable is a cricket premiere league called KPL. The college has a 3 floored library that has all the essential books, articles, and journals related to medical science. All the classrooms are smart classes with LCD screens and projectors.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are multiple hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. All the hostel rooms are air-conditioned with an attached bathroom. Each room has 2 wardrobes to keep the clothes and essentials and one is allotted to each occupant of the room. Also, there are 2 reading tables and 2 chairs each for each occupant. The meal is good sometimes and bad at others. But you can easily survive because there is a number of food canteens inside the campus. You have to register for the hostel at the time of admission.

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS Course which is around 5.5 yr is very difficult course as it will make you a doctor which is on of the most prestigious profession .Here you not only read theory but practical aspect is also more important. Students deal with patients in hospitals while studying clinical subjects. Here whole course is divided in 3 proff+ internship for around 6 months . 3rd proff is around again divided into 2 phase . In each year you have to appear at least 3 internal exams and one university exam which consist of both theory and practical examination. To pass the exam you have to secure atleast 40% in theory and in practical separately and 50% aggregately.Teaching method given by NMC is quite effective and difficult also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it because I wanted money and respect which this course delivers. Teacher and student ratio is ok but nowadays there is a shortage of faculties, so pg students teach us sometimes. MBBS qualified and method is slide reading only. Term exams are on time but it's difficult u know it's mbbs it's tough. Passing is not always possible.
