Course is vast and difficult but a very interesting one..get to learn new everyday..gives you the insight of actually being a doctor and saving someone's life...good practical exposure...will get to communicate with patients and analyze their problems and will also get an insight of the treatment modalities that they are offered and going through...will get to learn various skills and knowledge required to become a doctor

Internships Opportunities

4

Mandatory Internship is offered at the SUM Hospital where we are posted in various departments according to roaster and are made to learn the functioning of the department from a close angle. Get to learn new and amazing skills plus how to handle the work load..good exposure..faculties are excellent and seniors guide very well

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly Tution fees 1790000 for 4.5 yrs Hostel feel 120000 for 4 yrs Mess fees 42000 (was 36000 in 1st yr and then kept on increasing) Caution money 10000 Examination fees every year 5000 No scholarships provided to the best of my knowledgeable Different fees for NRI candidates (don't know exactly how much) No reservations

Campus Life

4

There is the main college fest called IMPULSE organized every year in the month of September or October. Its an event where the students represent their respective batches and compete in various cultural academic and athletic events. We also have Doctors premiere league for cricket just like the IPL wherein the Doctors and the students come together and play for their respective teams. Then there is football league basketball league kabbadi league and many more events organized by the students every year. The infrastructure is great...each lecture theater has good amount of seating with smart class projectors and AC . Library is well equipped with all the journals and books of various medical branches

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are quite good . My room is a 2 person sharing with AC and attached washroom with a kitchen and a balcony...quite spacious and well maintained. We also have 3 person sharing rooms in other hostel with a common washroom. Registration is done during the time of admission in first come first serve basis. Mess is good but the menu is quite monotonous with an option for veg and non veg both

Admission

Admission is through All india counseling for deemed universities based on NEET marks and merit. Selected this college because of the good NIRF ranking and decent budget not going over expensive compared to other like JLN wardha where i got Selected first and had rejected

Faculty

4

There are 2 internal exams and 1 final professional exam every year with theory and practical both. Faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced. Each student is alloted a specific mentor for their academic monitoring purposes. Some faculty members are great while some few are not like every other college. (Not disclosing any names). Like some will really make you understand things while some will make it a boring class Course is vast and difficult requires a lot of hard work

Night Life

5

Nightlife is decent..things wind up early this side usually..in time for girls is 10pm but sadly not for boys Campus has a gym and cafeteria as well . Famous hangout places would be winsome cafe right outside the main enterance..maggie station inside the campus..basketball court etc.

My inclination towards the profession came from my father. There should be research opportunities for interested students. There should be more interactive sessions with students and MCQ tests on a regular basis.

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS Course which is around 5.5 yr is very difficult course as it will make you a doctor which is on of the most prestigious profession .Here you not only read theory but practical aspect is also more important. Students deal with patients in hospitals while studying clinical subjects. Here whole course is divided in 3 proff+ internship for around 6 months . 3rd proff is around again divided into 2 phase . In each year you have to appear at least 3 internal exams and one university exam which consist of both theory and practical examination. To pass the exam you have to secure atleast 40% in theory and in practical separately and 50% aggregately.Teaching method given by NMC is quite effective and difficult also.

I chose it because I wanted money and respect which this course delivers. Teacher and student ratio is ok but nowadays there is a shortage of faculties, so pg students teach us sometimes. MBBS qualified and method is slide reading only. Term exams are on time but it's difficult u know it's mbbs it's tough. Passing is not always possible.

in AIIMS, students can get the best professors and doctors for their academics. AIIMS is autonomous so we are independent in our syllabus and exam which provide a standard over other colleges. the course curriculum strictly follows clinical knowledge which shapes us to be a good doctors in the future. some departments are very good in teaching like pharmacology, anatomy, pediatrics, biochemistry.
