Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to be a Doctor. So I chose this course. Faculties are very few, to be honest. Teachers are mostly doctors and with pg. Exams are held at the end of the year. It's called a Medical board examination. You have to score 50% in theory and practical separately to pass.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 650000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

You pay around 9.8 lakhs for the first year. Then 8 lakhs per year for the rest years. The hostel is compulsory and you have to pay for it even if you are a day scholar. No scholarship or financial assistance.

Campus Life

Campus life is decent at best. Fests are organized by seniors and not by the college. So money is always collected from the juniors and college students as a whole to conduct a fest. Twice a year. The library is actually beautiful and vast. It's properly maintained and clean. An ample amount of books is present. Classrooms have audio-visual aids to help in teaching. The college has a basketball court, a badminton court, and a cricket field.

Admission

Eligibility for this college is through neet only. You have to qualify for the exam to pursue MBBS. State-level counseling is done, and you can apply for this college by making it one of the choices in your selection. The application is online. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. But reserved seats are equal here. The application/Admission process is clean and simple.

I got admission in this course by applying in NEET entrance examination. I got good score in my NEET entrance exam and cleared the cutoff set by the college. I got this college in my NEET counselling based on my NEET score. I got this college under all India quota. Candidate who wishes to take admission in this course must appear for NEET entrance examination and must have a valid NEET score. A candidate must at least have 50% in 10+2 in physics, chemistry and biology. After having good NEET score I applied for counseling and in that I got this college.

I had also applied for Sri Jagannath Medical College , Puri. As it's a good college which is couple of hours away from my hometown. But as that college is government it has a high cut-off that I couldn't qualify in order to get admission in it. Then my second preference was Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital. This college is few kms away from my home . So I knew the college quite well. So, i decided to get admission into it . The admission process was quite smooth tho. The Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital bhubaneswar is an ideal college for the students pursuing the course MBBS

The eligibilty of the course is to qualify the NEET entrance exam. Then there will be councilling conducted by the govt. The application form is given only to worthy people not everyone can get it . Application fees is nominal as it's included in admission. There is not application dates as there is no direct admission here. Reservation isn't beneficial it's a curse .
