Course Curriculum Overview

3

I mean its beind a doctor.. what other motivation do i need. The curriculum prepares us to handle panic situation, treat the patient unbiased, be a good person, etc.. the teaching should be more student to student interaction.

Internships Opportunities

2

Once u complete the course.. u become an intern in the same college for a year.. so u treat patients in that hospital only. No outside hospitals are involved. The stipend is quite low in comparison to other government colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly, there is tuition fees of ?650000... it doesnt change per year. But the hostel fees change depending on whether u take AC Hostel or Non AC hostel. AC hostel plus canteen fees is ?220000 while Non AC hostel plus canteen fees is ?180000. Caution fees of ?22000 are taken which will be returned at the end of the course. The NRI students give the tuition fees of ?2600000 per annum

Campus Life

3

Every year, a fest is organised in college... but the money is collected from students, college doesnt contribute. The library is awesome.. the one thing i like the most. Sports activity are so few that i lost interest in games. No such specific clubs are there

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms are 3 people accommodation. Ac rooms are bug while non Ac rooms are small. Meal is not that good but edible. The hostel are compulsory... one cannot live outside the campus in PG. Hostel rooms are affordable

Admission

I applied for other government colleges.. but i fell short for 10 marks and couldnt make it. It is a semi government college, the best i could get with those marks. Admission process is through OJEE counciling once u clear the NEET exam

Faculty

2

Faculty student relationship is okayish... there are approachable. Pathology and Anatomy faculty is too good. Didnt like the Pharma and Biochemistry faculty. There are 2 internals and a MBE every year. Almost 15-20 students fail every year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical curriculum is very big, it's only your interest in serving people that will keep you balanced in this course. Otherwise, this course will feel like a burden as days pass. If people are truly interested and dedicated, then this course will give them so much scope in the future in the real world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only thing that inspires me to go on despite of all the burn outs is the course curriculum. I'm absolutely in love with the course. It's sometime overwhelming that we're gonna deal with the human body tho and the way they teach us specifically the practical part of dealing with patients. Because of the affordable health care provision the patient load in our hospital is pretty good. Hence we get to learn about a lot of cases . Though I consider the learning part to be really good. I feel like there is a need of a better infrastructure in the college . The labs need to be more updated with more advanced equipments . The hostel food menu needs an upgrade too ;-(

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best thing of this college is that you started your clinical posting at very earlier which make mbbs a very pressure free curriculum. The biggest disadvantage of this 5.5 Yr curriculum is once you failed a final exam of any year you have to reappear for one more time and you will be one year back from your batch mates. And exam frequency is very late which do not give a last option to the previous batch student who had fail their exam
