Remarks

The college manager is good. It helps you to grow and if you study just a but then you can easily pass the exams.

Entrance Preview

This is the only college I could get in through. Although at first, I was afraid because it didn't have a good reputation but after getting in I was very happy with the faculty and teaching style. The college is very strict and maintains discipline. Also, there isn't any ragging

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is very fast. Please think twice before getting in MBBS. It requires tremendous hard work and dedication. Get used to study long hours and have sleepless nights before exams! Also, the training procedure is very difficult and you need to be mentally strong to pass MBBS

Internships Opportunities

Yes there is a mandatory 1 ye housestaffship, which genera starts from the month of March after you clear the final year MBBS The striped is Rs20000 out of which you get Rs17000 in hand and Rs3000 is deducted as hostel fees.

Placement Experience

4

No Mbbs colleges provide placement as it is not required. Depending on your ambition most MBBS graduates prefer to study further and complete their post-graduation and hence very few freshers do their regular job. And yes, getting a job after completing Mbbs is a cakewalk

College Events

2

This is one of the biggest drawbacks of this college. The social-cultural events are scarce. Only one annual program is celebrated and we are not allowed to go to other colleges' fests as our attendance are not given for those specific days and hence no social life

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is a significant growth in the fee structure. Now it is almost touching 1cr for the entire fees. Due to NEET the fees have gone up drastically. It is a very unfair fee structure as after joining the college you won't feel it worthy of Rs1cr for 5and half years.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only a mere 15k scholarship per year is provided to you if you have scored very good marks in 12th and 10th exams!

Campus Life

3.5

If are interested in cricket, lawn tennis, basketball then you have some scope. For other sports, there isn't any scope in this college. There is a reverse of gender ration with more girls than boys. Labs are good with a plethora of clinical classes.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel is good but the food quality is very bad. Many times insects are found in the food. There aren't any good eating options too in and around the campus. So it is hard to survive in here and personally, I lost 17kgs during my first year itself.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful and there isn't any ragging or such stuff. They will help you and guide you and we have a very good junior-senior relationship.

Exam Structure

The exam is subjective in a pattern where you have to write long answers. In order to pass, you need to attempt all the questions and you can't leave a single chapter because questions come from all the chapters although previous year questions are repeated mostly

Admission

I cracked SAAT got a rank of 218. I was offered for counseling in the 4th round! I was shocked because I had a good enough rank to get a seat amongst 150 seats. The counseling process was smooth and was completed within a day. It was done in ITER Bhubaneswar.

Faculty

5

The faculty of our college is very student friendly. They would try their level best to make a good doctor out of you. All classes are regular and you need to attend them all. Interactions are a bit less but you must expect this when the syllabus is that huge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well organized by the authorities based on the latest medical aspect of our society. Practical classes and regular postings in hospital helps in better understanding. Being the only hospital in nearby cities, our hospital provides us a good exposure to varity of cases. Our Associate proff and HODs also look upto them and help us gain more real world experience. The best aspect of this field or if I have to say Why have I chose it is to serve the society. Absence of well qualified doc at the times of emergency is one of the leading causes of mortality in developing countried like India. Being in this profession, I just want to help people around me.
