Remarks

Birla Institute of technology Deoghar should always be a student's first choice if one is looking for overall growth. From academics to sports and cultural activities, this college provides the best possible way to train a student further. Admission starts in July after board exams and Jee. The college has excellent placements and faculties with the highest package of 43 lacks and an average of 13 lacks. The faculty members are highly educated and potential. There is no ragging in the college and it also has a friendly environment. The hostel facilities are also available.

I'm in the computer science engineering branch. The college has excellent facilities, with the best faculty members in the CSE branch. Semester exams are quite difficult but teachers are very helpful. Also, internal exams and practicals are of great value for a decent cgpa. The faculty-student ratio is 40:1. Cse has the best placement records.

Campus placement starts from third-year till the end of the fourth year. Placement is excellent in this college. The highest package of 43 lacks an average of 13 lakhs. Minimum package of 3.5 lakhs. 92%students get placement and the best placement is from the CSE branch

Fees and Financial Aid

A total package of 14 lacs for four years is required. It may sound expensive but the college is worth it. The college also provides scholarships for students from a poor financial background and also to meritorious students. Placement is excellent with an average package of 13 lacs and the highest package of 43 lacs.

Campus Life

Uthaan is the annual fest of our college. Annual sports meet is also conducted. Our college has a huge library with thousands of books. Clubs in our college include dance, robotics, music, ieee and many more. College life is satisfactory and the environment is friendly.

Hostel Facilities

There are a total of three hostels, two for boys and one for girls. In the first year, three people are asked to stay while in the second year two students are allowed to stay in a single room. The food menu is decided by third-year students and is quite satisfactory

Read this before joining BIT Sindri.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is slightly outdated due but still it isnrelevant due to research oriented branch. The areas they can improve is by adding practical subjects more than theoretical one. Exams are conducted twice every semester with easy to moderately moderate difficulty level.

All things to be considered before taking admission in BIT

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students are eligible for placement the companies visited are google,jindal,TCS, aakash,PWetc.the highest package offered was 25LPA and the average was 5-6LPA.the place percentage was 60-70% because there are students who is preparing for civil services,GATE,etc.My plan was to crack GATE and get placed in one of the PSU's.

BIT Mesra Review in a nutshell

Placement Experience:

After completion of 6th sem students are eligible for placements. All major tech giants you name it like Google, Microsoft,Walmart,Atlassian,Flipkart,Visa,Texas Instruments,Arcesium,Salesforce..... etc do visit the campus for the placement and around there are around 250+ companies visiting. Highest offered was around 51 lakhs and average for CSE is around 21Lakhs. Percentage of students placed is close to 90%.

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Our college provides almost hundred percent placement for core branches. Students are eligible from seven semester for the placement drive. Companies like tata steel vedanta, jsl, tcs, jsw,etc are the top recruiters. My plan is to join one of these companies for better future.

My opinion about my college BIT SINDRI

Placement Experience:

The students in our college becomes eligible after 6th semester and after that campus placement starts in our college. There are various companies that visited in our college are TATA STEEL,JSW,JSL, VEDANTA,TCS,TATA MOTORS, SAMSUNG, YAMAHA etc. Out of 1200, 971 students got placed in decent companies. The highest package in our college campus is 13.75 lakhs by TATA STEEL and the average package of our college is 6 to 7 lakhs. The percentage of placed students is above 92. After getting the degree I go to work in automobile companies and get exposure of how automobile industry works.

Experience of an undergrad

For taking admission in this college you should must give jee mains exams,as this college is now lister under josaa and csab therefore maximum of it seats and alloted through this counsellings,some of the vacants seats are filled by the internal counselling conducted by the bit mesra considering jee mains rank.I got admission to this college through jee mains rank in the csab 1st round into the btech in computer science and engineering.the application forms of jee mains can be found on the NTA website with its own form fees for the exam.In the jee mains reservation is provided according to the category,the exam level is moderate to hard the exam is conducted twice in an year most probably jan and april.the internal counselling forms can be found on bit mesra website after jee mains exams. the cutoff ranges from 88 percentile above for general ,80 + for obc as well as for Ews and 70+ for sc/st....Read More

1.The admission process is easy. You should have to appear in Jee mains examination then You have to sit in councelling process of JOSSA Or CSAB the merit list came after that you have to pay a fix amount of admission fee to book your seat and after some day to have to came to college for document verification. 2.The college also give privilage to jharkhand obc student, student should have JEE mains score card and have obc certificate which is issued by SDO only.
