Remarks

I chose the college because it is a reputed college in my region. The name is a brand for medical as well as for engineering courses. The college has a large and well-equipped infrastructure and the admission process is quite simple. you just have to register for the MCC site for counseling and you will get the college according to your choices filled during counseling. I preferred the college because of its known recognition and reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose the course because it was my passion to become a doctor. Wearing an apron and holding a stethoscope was my dream because according to me this profession is what makes me happy. The faculty is to student ratio is 1:10 to 1:20 depending on the department. The faculties are highly intellectual and well experienced and this is reflected in their teaching methods. we have 2-semester exams in a year and one professional exam after which we get promoted to the next academic session.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, there is a compulsory internship which is rotatory in nature is provided by the college in which we have to practice in each and every department to gain the clinical knowledge and skill which is required for future practice. The students also get a stipend of Rs 25000 per month during their internship.

Placement Experience

4

There is no such term called placement in medical colleges because whoever does mbbs gets either job in a government or a private medical college. Each and every medical graduate graduating from medical college gets Rs 75000 to Rs 100000 per month. And it depends on the state where you practice and also on the skills and experience you have. Almost all students graduating from my college get a job in hospitals across India.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as follows. The academic fee is Rs 1200000 per annum, the Hostel fee is Rs 110000 per annum and the mess charge is Rs 35000 per annum. The fee is fixed that is no hike policy in fees. The college provides scholarships to the top 3 meritorious students of each academic batch.Rs 100000 is given to the 1st ranker and Rs 50000 to the 3rd ranker of the batch.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good. The college conducts 2 annual fests. one in the summer and the other in the winter. The summer fest is conducted on the college campus while the winter fest is conducted in kiit stadium and in this fest celebrities come to perform. The library is large and has all the books related to medical sciences. It also has all the journals and research papers related to medicine. All the classrooms are smart classrooms with big monitors and led projectors. The college conducts several sports activities in a year. One noteable is KPL which is a cricket premier league.

Hostel Facilities

4

We all accommodate in a double-bedded Ac room with an attached bathroom. Also, each room has 2 wardrobes each for one occupant. Also, it has 2 reading tables and chairs for study. The college provides all the essential stuff such as bedsheets, mattresses, buckets, etc. The food at the mess is just alright. You can just eat the food. The mess changes its menu once a year. The registration process is just simple. you have to just apply during admission to the hostel.

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS Course which is around 5.5 yr is very difficult course as it will make you a doctor which is on of the most prestigious profession .Here you not only read theory but practical aspect is also more important. Students deal with patients in hospitals while studying clinical subjects. Here whole course is divided in 3 proff+ internship for around 6 months . 3rd proff is around again divided into 2 phase . In each year you have to appear at least 3 internal exams and one university exam which consist of both theory and practical examination. To pass the exam you have to secure atleast 40% in theory and in practical separately and 50% aggregately.Teaching method given by NMC is quite effective and difficult also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it because I wanted money and respect which this course delivers. Teacher and student ratio is ok but nowadays there is a shortage of faculties, so pg students teach us sometimes. MBBS qualified and method is slide reading only. Term exams are on time but it's difficult u know it's mbbs it's tough. Passing is not always possible.
