Remarks

The academics of this college is very good, all the students have a healthy competition among them. The best thing that I personally liked about this college was that if you want to participate in any event it's on a first-come basis no matter how skilled you are. To get enrolled in this college you have to fill the online application form though before applying do read the eligibilities because it states you have to score 70% up in English and maths. The aggregate should be higher than 70%. The price of this form is 150 after 3 weeks the first list comes out and within a week after the second list. The fees are usually 6000 per year which is very cheap you get your graduation certificate at less than 20,000.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Economic Honors gives you an upper hand in choosing your dream company because doing economics means you are good at maths and statistics too. The faculty-student ratio is usually 7 teachers and 30-40 students. All the professors have a doctorate in their field and are good at explaining stuff. The exams were usually once in 3 months. Though the paper was usually set easy but scoring marks was difficult because it was way too lengthy.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There are no internships offered from the college directly though you can always search for internships on your own and have a small earning. The usual job which you should get should be of research or content writing in economics. You should always try to do an internship in your college since it adds value to your CV and your future job. The professors always encourage you to join an internship you can always ask your professor to recommend you a company to join.

Placement Experience

3

Third-year students are eligible for campus placements though only 20% of the students sit in the company placement everyone has further plans to study. The highest package which comes in our company is 3 LPA. 5% of the students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

2-3 companies usually come every year one of the names of the company is cognizant you get 23000 per month if you get hired but have to work there for at least 2 years. Scholarships are offered to students who belong from very poor family and they have to pay 500 per year if they get the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The library of this college is amazing you get all the books plus there is usually no fine if you even return the books late the library even has 6 computers which you can use to make presentations and anything you want. There is a ground in the college where you can play games like badminton and many outdoor activities.

Interview Experience

5

No there are no such things in the admission process you don't have to sit for an interview. It all depends on your marks. It's totally merit-based on your class12 results. So good thing for you is just doing your best on your boards to get selected in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I love Statistics. Also, there is a great job opportunity after reading the statistics here. A BSc in Statistics(Hons) covers a wide range of topics. The scope of the program prepares graduates for careers in data analysis, research and various other fields that require strong quantitative and analytical skills. At present, there are 9 teachers and 25 students in our year. Innovative Teaching Methods: #Audio & Video Tools. #Stimulating Classroom Environment #Welcome New Ideas #Refer to Books On Creativity #Introduce Lessons Like a Story #Regular Assignments #Seminar by the students & professors There are two semesters in an academic year and there is a short mid-semester in between each semester here. To clear the exams you need to read class notes and books properly.

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. There are no campus placements. No companies visit the college and no as such highest and average package as per company and profiles offered are available. My plan after getting a degree is to go for further higher studies i.e. M.Sc. in biotechnology from out of West Bengal. Then after completing my M.Sc. I will further go for Ph.D.
