As per my interest in Analytics SCMHRD offers a specialized course for Business Analytics whereas not many B schools have such a niche course in their curriculum. A unique feature that makes SCMHRD extraordinary is rich academic curriculum and pedagogy that not only caters to the requirement of the industry but also foster entrepreneur mindset. They have a rich culture to alumni base connect and an interesting campus life
Course Curriculum Overview
From my past job experience, as I have worked with data, I got an interest in data analytics to this BA specialization is kind of custom fit to my requirement. Though in BA in house specialized faculty count is very few but have a good number of qualified visiting faculty with more than 10 years of industry experience
Internships Opportunities
We are offered internship opportunities from college, also various paid/unpaid live projects in esteemed firms. For BA roles differ from company to company as companies from all domains comes to campus to pick the best for their job role
Placement Experience
The college has a track record of 100% placement in Internships and finals. We all know how the whole economy is suffering from the pandemic, but still, we got a good placement scene with companies like BMW, Adobe, SONY, Maersk, Titan, Vi, etc visited for our summer internship in BA. The highest stipend offered is 2L for 2 months period.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees structure is quite in line with other top B schools in its tier. generally a 10% fee hike every year is expected if we consider the last few year's trends. There is 2-3 opportunity of scholarships and also a good list of 8-10 banks are in collaboration with SCMHRD for zero guarantee loan. If we further look into ROE, I can say its quite promising than few new IIMs
Campus Life
SCMHRD is known for totally student-driven and a happening campus life but unfortunately we the batch 2020-22 couldn't get a chance to experience that. Our annual cultural fest, NEEV is one of the top 3 MBA college fests. Apart from the cultural fest, SCMHRD is enriched with 13 committees. Once you join, you will get full access to the offline and online library as well as free access to most of the educational databases
Interview Experience
For BA there was a technical WAT round at 1st consist of a few basic level statistics questions then it followed by one GD and one GE. Topics are mostly on current affairs and social affairs. Finally, the process ends with a good 15 min PI. For me, it was not that grilled type. for admission 50:50 rule was there, 50 % weightage on the snap score and 50% on the GD-PI process.
