SCMHRD is among the top 20 B Schools in India (ranked in the top 20) by various notable ranking agencies and also the only B School in Pune to be AACSB accredited. I am currently a Business Analytics student (2020-2022) and I can vouch that among the very few colleges which offer Courses and Certifications in this fastest-growing field of technology and management, SCMHRD is the best and the only college in the top 20 to offer a full-time MBA program in Business Analytics. The admission criteria are to clear the national entrance exam SNAP and get a minimum of 90 percentile and to have a 2-year full-time work experience to be able to get a call for the GEPIWAT process. Then based on your cumulative performance, you get final admission into the program.
Course Curriculum Overview
The student to faculty ratio is 1:10 which gives immense opportunity to self interact and learn in tandem with the industry experts which are often our visiting faculties. All the in-house faculties are mostly PhD holders. Visiting faculties are having around 10-15 years of experience in their field making the pedagogy really rich and fulfilling.
Internships Opportunities
College provides summer placements wherein companies across FMCG, retail, finance, technology, consulting visit the campus and recruit with high offerings. The projects offered to help the students sharpen their technical and business skills.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are top class and top companies across FMCG, telecom, technology, finance, consulting visit the campus both for summers and final placements. The highest package offered is 22 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the full-time MBA is really reasonable for a college like SCMHRD which stands among the top 20 B Schools in India and also is AACSB accredited. The tuition fees are quite reasonable. The mess and hostel charges are also pretty reasonable.
Campus Life
SCMHRD hosts the 3rd largest cultural fest organised by NEEV every year. The college is well equipped with a library and classrooms with projectors. The college follows a student-driven culture wherein various committees take care of admissions, placements, cultural programs, fests etc.
Interview Experience
The topics of GD were mainly either from current affairs at that time within a 90 days boundary or abstract topics were also thrown at some groups to check out their creativity and presence of mind. For admission into Business Analytics, you have to also clear a technical WAT and creative WAT followed by GD and then PI.
