Remarks

Very nice college greatly managed by family of our former chief minister B.S.Yeddyurappa. Very beautiful infrastructure and library named PRERANA where they maintained a pin drop silence. Timeless experience.

Entrance Preview

I took CET i scored 16198 Ranking. This is one of the good college in my hometown Shivamogga. It was started the year before i joined. As it was a new college by that time it made to choose the college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is very interesting Subject that is required as long as there is a requirement of power systems electricity is most valuable energy without which it is difficult to live in the present world as i was very interested in the Electrical Grid since from my childhood that made me to choose the electrical ans electronics engineering course.

Internships Opportunities

No. Our college did not provide any internship by its own. But our seniors were out for internship. As they were the first batch of students, they helped us a lot to come through these aspects called internship and stipend. I did not come across any of these i am not so very aware of them.

Placement Experience

2.5

Ours was the second batch after the starting of the college that was the con for us because of which many companies could not come to the college for placements. even though our placement officer MR. Pramod Sangappa who managed to bring the companies to the campus.

College Events

4

Most enjoyed event celebrated in our college was EMINENCE in which we participated in most of the events like TREASURE HUNT, PUZZLES, CIRCUIT DEBUGGING and many more competitions. We also participated in the VTU fests organised in the MSRIT bangalore.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was feasible not very expensive. i used to pay the fees every year once the year starts and 500 exam fees at the end of the semester. I studied engineering for 4 years. I paid 28000 for CET and 5000 for transportation and 15000 college fees almost i remember. They never tortured for fees they always helped us to study untill the last working day without disturbance.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, Scholarship was provided every semester if the result was First Class with Distinction. it was a gift voucher of Rs.500 to purchase the books for the upcoming semester. This effectively helped us to buy the text book of our choice.Loan facility was provided like we can pay the fees through loan sanctioned from the banks.

Campus Life

5

Campus life was very memorable as we used to sit and chat in our cricket ground and canteen. Gender Ratio was almost like 60:40 ie boys:girls. We were all great friends where the concept of gender ratio never came across in the whole college. Diversity was of course there between the branches in spite of which we managed to maintain the good relationship with other branches.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel Facilities was good. The rooms very maintained in a very neat and tidy way. Clean Floors and bathrooms actually gave us peace in the hostel. Rooms were three sharing. Irrespective of the juniors and seniors differentiation we were all together staying in the rooms which helped us to build a healthy relationship with seniors. But the In-Out timings was a bit annoying. Mess food was not that good.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a great alumni network that we get the mails from our college even till today inviting us for the functions. We can talk to our friends about the past college life and senior students about their carrier and experience the companies that help us for our growth.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very nice like we had 8 semesters. Exam was conducted for every 6 month. We had the internals conducted monthly that is 3 internals for every subject whose average was included for the external examination. Field Theory subject and Micro Controllers lab was the most hectic subject and lab and CAED and mechanical lab was the most chilled out lab.

Faculty

4

I remember Mr. Shiva Kumar Sir who taught us Power System Analysis effectively. He was very obediently in his teaching. We never missed the Classes Usually. As the subject was Problematic Subject we used to attend the classes regularly almost.I was so impressed with the Power System Analysis that i studied the subject with a great interest. Now i work as a design engineer , Designing relay panels.

It's a government college so the fee will be less.you can find multiple PhD holders here as your lecturers.and above all of this good study environment. Since you get lecturers with high info on their respective field it will be very educational to have conversations with them and you can even discuss other topics that are not related to just academics.
