Remarks

Good crowd, Good campus, Brand reputation, Cumbersome admission process, Some Unprofessional faculty, Unsystematic way of teaching and providing syllabus. No good coordination.

Course Curriculum Overview

2 exams were scheduled on the same day. Very little breaks between studies. Rushed course. Institution basically runs like a business more than educating. Average to below average professors. Decent faculty to student ratio.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

The senior year allows eligibility for placements. Zomato, Zocdoc, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, etc. Average package 3 LPA. 15 Percent of students placed. I did not get placed. Had to work with smaller businesses and make my own career path.

Fees and Financial Aid

Overpriced and overrated just sailing on brand value nothing more. Fancy exterior to show in their brochures but use outdated means of imparting actual knowledge. Placement is a joke. Empty promises made. No financial assistance.

Campus Life

One of the few good things to say about this college. Sympulse is actually formed really well by students and taken very seriously. Gained a cult-like status. Classroom amenities are from the 1990s era. Computers that hardly work better rely on personal laptops. Still using blackboard n chalk rather than making use of whiteboards and presentations. The library is ok. It has a book on subjects but a small library often runs out of books. Still following old token system to get books.

Hostel Facilities

The a huge disparity between boys and girls hostels. Girls get a good hostel and living conditions throughout till senior year and bus service from campus to hostel. Boys get a far smaller and subpar experience often relying on finding their own space to rent later on.

Its Mediocre.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are okay and mid. Don't expect higher packages like over 7 LPA; the highest was, I think, 6 LPA. Most are campus placements, and the companies coming in are mid-tier too. Not expecting much from here, though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was really into HR role and this course helped me improve myself and really explore deep into the role of HR. It helped me prepare for the real world. I just wish there were more real life experiences during the teaching and course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 5th semester for placement. Companies like Goldman Sachs, deshaw, colgate visit our campus and 200+ offers are made. Highest package is around 24 lpa and average is 6 lpa. 50% students get placement. My plans getting the degree is to prepare for mba.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Symbiosis: a zig zag experience

I chose Symbiosis because it offered International Business which is of my keen interest. When I contacted other colleges and enquired about this course, they said they don't have this course or some said "we're not sure". I mean how can they be not sure of their own curriculum? And I applied only to SYMBIOSIS. Now I'm in my final year and dual specializing in International Business and Marketing. For the admission process, firstly fill the application form and then they'll also conduct a mock test when main entrance exam is around a month away or smtg. And then Symbiosis Entrance EXAM (SET EXAM) happens. After qualifying that,the student is shortlisted to WAT (written assessment test). It's like an essay writing test, you will be given a topic and 20mins of time. Lastly it's the PI (personal interview) and then merit list or not depends on student performance....Read More
