My college experience

CSE and IT BTech programs are good here with excellent placements in top companies. Admission process starts with filling the admission form for JEE mains and Jaypee University form. This college doesn't take part in the joint seat allocation process conducted, so they have a separate counselling process. I preferred this college over others in this category because of it's reasonable fee structure, latest course structure and better placements than most of the colleges in this category. I got to know about this college through my coaching institute, advertisements on different platforms and I know few alumni from this college.

I choose this course because of the latest course structure which includes industry-relevant subjects in the curriculum. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 1:50 and the faculty members are highly qualified with appropriate educational qualifications. The teaching method includes classroom learning as well as daily assignments and project work related to the latest relevant technology. There were regular class tests and quizzes along with fixed mid and end-term exams in each semester. Regular studies and classroom notes are enough to pass these exams with the above marks.

7th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. Around 50 companies visited the campus with a maximum salary offered 30 LPA. The average salary offered was around 5.5 LPA. The campus placements guarantee a 100% placement record. After my graduation, I am working for a top US IT firm.

There is a 10% hike in fee every other year and the total cost incurred is around 6.40 lacs. One can easily get financial assistance from the banks without much fuss. Scholarships are also available for meritorious students based on the rank in the JEE mains exam. I was not working during my days at JIIT Noida.

Tech and Cultural Fest are generally organised in the month of January and February in the even semester. Required books and reading material are readily available at the college library. Classrooms are spacious with respect to the batch strength. The campus has a basketball court, football ground and swimming pool for various sports activities. There are many clubs and committees which are managed by the students. The purpose of such clubs vary.

These details are for a twin sharing room which has two beds, two table chair set and two separate almirahs for the residents. The room has proper three-pin plug points to connect various electrical appliances. Students are also opting for AC rooms. The quality of the meal is good and the menu is not boring. Both veg and non-veg food options are offered on selected days in a week. Breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner are the four meals that are offered. In addition to that, students can avail themselves the facility of night canteen too. The cost of living is not high and hostel registration can be done during the starting of any of the odd semester. The fee is to pay for the whole upcoming year.
