Remarks

It's in the foothills of Himalaya so the climate is soothing to study, the rank of college all over India comes under 100. It was in Dehradun only so I opted for it. Passouts told that the education quality is good and it is actually good if you are a dedicated student towards studies and want hands-on learning on various projects. There is counseling where on your percentage (12th) + JEE mains score you can have options for various branches. Admission starts around June or July.

Because I wanted to have a backup of going into the merchant navy through the GME course. 1 faculty per 60 students. All are Mtech or PhD holders with ample of experience and exceptional technical knowledge and skills. Terms were divided into 2 , mid terms and final and were average to pass

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement after the 6th semester. Companies like Ashok Leyland, by jus , Wipro, cognizant, Infosys, nine leaps, etc come. Highest package of 9 LPA by a trident. Approximately 80% of students get placed for sure. I am a passout.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees remained the same as mentioned in the brochure. Scholarships are for high percentile and good JEE marks holders. Various companies come for placement and much better for IT department. Average package for mechanical students- 4 LPA IT students - 4.6 LPA Electric and electronics - 4 lpa

Campus Life

The annual fest is called Youthopia where various Bollywood artists come to perform like, band INDIAN OCEANS, GAJENDRA VERMA, GIPPY GREWAL, etc Tech fest - There is no name for it but yes another successful event where different kinds of competitions are there for coding, hacking, racing of robots, robot wars etc Amenities- projectors, smart boards. Sports fest is called sphurti in which basketball, badminton, cricket , football, table tennis, etc are conducted There are various groups for extra curriculum like music, dance, art, and craft, etc.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

The placements of the students in the college is satisfactory. This year the students of third year grabbed a placement of 18 LPA . Wipro and TCS visits the campus frequently. The highest package is of 43 LPA and the average stands at 6-7 LPA.. the percentage of the placements is nearly 90-95%..

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th. The thing which should be kept in mind, is that the scholarship is on the tution fee only.
