Remarks

This college has infrastructure and campus facilities. The staff here has a good experience regarding what they are teaching. The campus has many facilities like libraries, laboratories, sports facilities (indoor, outdoor). As looking in past years placement trend, it is an increasingly wide by a number of placement and also by the amount of package offered.

I was interested in computer science and luckily got allotted to this college through the Maharashtra counseling process. The faculty to student ratio is likely 1:19. There are two semesters in a year and each semester has a final exam conducted by sppu.

The internship opportunities are also being provided on the campus and are available as per availability and the performance of the student and devotion towards the company. The placement cell is round the clock working on it.

The college has a good amount of public in here, which tends to big social and public activities. This includes various types of sports events, karandak, dance events, hackathon,s etc. The library is also big with a sitting capacity of nearly four thousand students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
