Remarks

The college is nature friendly with beautiful construction, well-equipped departments with department library. The only remark is about the college canteen, college canteen lacks good food. The admissions start from Feb onwards. The first process is the registration on the college website, then you will get a call for GD. The entrance score is mandatory for the MBA. I prefered LIMS over others because it is managed by the archdiocese of Changanacherry. All the institutions under the archdioceses of Changanacherry are the best in Kerala.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose MBA because it is a professional course and it has its own dignity as compared to any other ordinary course. For 60 students and for 8 subjects we have 8 faculty. The faculties are highly qualified and experienced, the teaching method is like a discussion of various topic with students. Students are also allowed to take seminars on various topics. The exams are conducted on time. There will be 2 internals and 1 main exam for each sem.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

In the 5th sem all are eligible for campus placement. The companies that visit our college are Globasta, TCS, Muthoot, Byjus. The highest package is 50000 per month and the lowest is 25000 per month 25% of students are getting placements each year. After my MBA I want to work as a manager in MNC's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study and the fee of the course is very less as we compare other colleges in Kerala for study materials we can fully depend on the library. So the money spent on books and texts is less. The department is providing various scholarship, financial assistance etc to economically backward students and also to the students who are good in studies.

Campus Life

Department will conduct an annual fest every year by participating in other colleges. Fests are usually conducted in February. The library has all books and journals up to date. The classrooms are well furnished with an exclusive chair and the classroom has 4 ACs. The college has a badminton coat, basketball coat and volleyball coat.

Hostel Facilities

The girl hostel room is provided with a study table, chair and a bed. In the girl's hostel, the food is not up to the money we pay. Also, the warden sister is very rude and non-cooperative with the students. Most of the food they are providing are leftovers, if we complain to the authority no one is gonna listen to us. The hostel is affordable. The registration process is done through the college website.

Is XIME kochi worth joining to pursue PGDM?

Placement Experience:

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

Great College with Best ROI

Placement Experience:

From the 5th Semester onwards, i.e. in November the placement process starts. The eligibility criteria for placements is to get at least 4.8 CGPA out of 8 CGPA. Approximately 60 or more companies have visited our campus until now and more than 85% of people have been placed. (As of 3rd February 2022) The highest package until now is around 14 Lakh per annum and the average package per company is around 8 Lakh per annum. (As of 3rd February, 2022) We have a target of 100% placements until April 2022. I have already been placed, so, my plan is to do well in the job I got into, and I'm very happy about it.

'Lims' the college that you can choose for your better future

I prefer this Lmims because it is one of the best business schools in Trivandrum. Lmims is in academic collaboration with Xime and is located in kuttichal hills which is a nice place surrounded by greenery. Even though the fees are low as compared to other business schools in Trivandrum they are not compromising in the quality of education and facilities provided. "LIMIS- A Better CHOICE"

Lourdes Matha college is the best college with eco friendly, learning environment and anti ragging cell for students. The reason I choose this college for doing my PG(MBA) because it's the best private college in my city with a fair course fee as government colleges and I got good reviews about the management and faculties from seniors. Any institution has its own negative or drawbacks but at Lourdes Matha college there is little about the canteen facility.
