Lourdes Matha college is the best college with eco friendly, learning environment and anti ragging cell for students. The reason I choose this college for doing my PG(MBA) because it's the best private college in my city with a fair course fee as government colleges and I got good reviews about the management and faculties from seniors. Any institution has its own negative or drawbacks but at Lourdes Matha college there is little about the canteen facility. The 2 year MBA program of LIMS is offered under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and collaborated with XIME one of the top B-Schools in the country which helps to provide a better management environment, placement cell etc. I got admission through KMAT Kerala 2020 entrance exam held by the University and the admission process is completed by the MBA department, management through interview and GD along with the entrance qualification. I have chosen this MBA course for a better job and for further studies. In our batch 16 includes 56 students and 7 faculties including the dean and HOD. Faculties are specialized in each subject and 3 of them have PhD. The teaching method of each faculty member is impressive and by presentations. They are very friendly and supportive. They encourage them to do extra-curricular activities to build up their students as much better. From dean to assistant professors all are approachable and very helpful. The exams conducted on a semester wise system by KTU.

The college provides online and offline internships. Most of the online internships can be done through Internshala and provide internships with stipend. Through internships, students can improve their knowledge and management skills.

The collaboration with XIME provides much more placements related to previous years. The placements are available for final year students. The companies which hired the students from the campus includes Byju's, Quaxile, Amazon, ICICI, Muthooth etc. The average package is 25000 per month and 50% of the students got placed. After my PG I wants to get a job in well reputed companies.

As a private college LIMS provides a fair fee for MBA course compared to other MBA colleges. For two years fee up to R.S.300000. LIMS provides various scholarships for students namely, XIME merit scholarships, scholarships for best outgoing student and scholarship for student with KMAT Score above 150 and 200 and loans are provided. They offer online and offline internships with stipend.

Due to the COVID pandemic, there is no tech fest an annual fest conducted. In the MBA department, there is a central library and a separate library for MBA students. Library with a wide range of books and journals. The classrooms are equipped with well designed furniture, air conditioned and projectors. There are many club activities in the MBA department run by students.

Following the KMAT entrance exam, I applied for the course through the official site of the college. Then MBA department call for an Interview and GD. The topic of GD were the cons and pros of Social media. The 3 faculty members conducted interview and GD in the conference room and at last, I allotted to the college by the management. Department provides free entrance coaching also.
